the enigma that is badger wrote: Here's a question for Will and all you BA fans: after the limited-edition figure is sold out, what do you think of having only the decal set available for purchase, perhaps with one of the M1 helmets? You'd have to provide your own minifig body parts and suitcase, but you'd be able to recreate the figure yourself. You just wouldn't have the accessories to go with it.
I'd be happy to buy those decals to my own medic. Will wrote:Are you looking for a chrome syringe and a ceramic scalpel? They sound very sci-fi, don't they? :) If possible, I would definetly buy one, I mean two or... What the heck! I Just say both scalpel and syringe in opposite colors if just possible. Just some re-coloring with paint and I have nice pair of medic supplies. The only thing that concernes me is their size. It would get lost wery easily and my kittens or tortoise could swallow it (that's the reason why I always keep my brickarms and brickarmed minifigs in closed tupperware box).
What's the point in living without BrickArms?

I know this is a little off topic, but I have a cat, and it doesn't eat any of my lego pieces. Back on topic: I think by offering decals and the medic supplies all those who couldn't get the medic (like me) can make there own and be happy. And for all those "medic owners" who want them to still be "limited edition" you still have your custom bases.

Unfortunately, Will has made it clear that he has no plans to offer the Medic decal set for sale at any time.
He does, however, still have plans to make the syringe and the scalpel more widely available. As to when this will occur, what numbers will be available, and what colors the items will be available, those details are still very much in flux at the moment, so I can't comment on them right now.
Keep watching the forums as news will be posted as soon as it can be!

the enigma that is badger wrote: Ok folks, simmer down a bit. Yes, there is an item that was part of the medical accessories mold that hasn't been made public. Actually, the design from that mold is out of date as Will has since changed the design. ChuckC wrote:A syringe firing flechete gun? Yes. Maybe it is a bigger syringe, like one as big as a fig.

Could those secret prototype molds be the MGL prototype?

I can't wait to get them! In my opinion, the syringe and scalpel are the coolest items ever created by Will :) "Scream as loud as you want, even the Lord himself will not hear you."

Well, I'm assuming the new "prototype" is a combat knife, seeing as it was used in a mold where Will was experimenting with edged molds (Scalpel). And the fact that it will be made in silver (Like the scalpel) and cream colored (like the syringe, although not many weapons look good in cream color). Just my rationalization, I could be completely wrong.

That does sound like a good explanation Legacy. Well thought out! (even though it might be wrong)

I add all kinds of things to my prototype molds, not just items from the same "family". Color really isn't any consideration, since the molds are mainly used to test items before I commit them to a mold, so I'll inject with any color within reach - usually black.

Gee, I really wish I got a medic. But I know how to make my own! I would only be missing the scalpel, syringe, display stand, plastic box, and the velvet bag. Okay thats a lot I would be missing.
They've made a mistake before, where have they made one now? Well, they've got me mad at them!
