Hi everybody! This is my take on the U.S. M2 flamethrower used in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. I got inspired to make this by a suggestion on these forums. Actually, this model is an improvement on Will's original brick-built prototypes. I wanted to make it as historically accurate as possible, but unfortunately I could not achieve the third tank in the middle of the tank assembly, so that's why you won't see one. First is a WWII-era photo of the flamethrower in operation in 1944, somewhere in france: http://mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=75925&id=/user_images/15952/1223404038m_DISPLAY.jpgNext is the whole unit worn by a soldier, from the front: http://mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=75925&id=/user_images/15952/12234040401After that is the whole unit worn by a soldier, from the back: http://mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=75925&id=/user_images/15952/12234040422Here's a couple pictures of it in operation: http://mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=75925&id=/user_images/15952/12234040433http://mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=75925&id=/user_images/15952/12234040464Here's the nozzle assembly. This took me some time to perfect, and I'm very happy with how it turned out. you can see the BA monopod there, acting as the front handle. It was the only piece that fit the bill: http://mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=75925&id=/user_images/15952/12234040485Here's the tanks, as I said before, there's no third tank. This is the least perfect part of this model, but it's not that terrible: http://mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=75925&id=/user_images/15952/12234040516Well thanks for taking the time to look. Comments are welcome!

Nice choice for the nozzle and feed hose. I chose the stretcher harness rubber piece for my flamethrower brick-built gun as well, but I used the Lego twin-tank piece instead of the built up version that you selected.
Well done, RoA!

Thanks Will! I actually got the idea to use the stretcher harness from your post in the flamethrower thread. the reason I used that tank assembly is that I ran out of good torsos for my army guys, so I had to cover that torso up with something, and that piece fit the bill perfectly.

Nice job. I'm really impressed by all of your WWII stuff, and this one is better than all the rest. Again great job.

That is so cool!!! Hey could you give me a bricklink link to the stretcher piece and the thing you built the tanks on? I would really like to build a few of these.
