A longsword????? I think a bayonet would be better here. Besides that it's a pretty good idea. Henk

The derringers and Colt Navy's are an accurate idea. I'd also consider incorporating the M1917 revolver, as it looks like a fairly reasonable stand-in for the Colt Peacemaker. The Combat Knife could work as a Bowie, so that's another good idea. However I don't think the SMLE could ever stand in for a Wild West rifle. I just can't picture it.

Sweet! This pack I would totally buy! I like that it has a wide variety of weapons.

The primary weapons of the Old West as Wikipedia sees it: Coach Gun Colt Peacemaker Smith & Wesson No. 3 Revolver Winchester Rifle Most of those aren't (currently) produced by BrickArms, and frankly, any Wild West pack wouldn't really capture the essence of the old West without them. I'd say the coach gun and Winchester rifle in particular would need to anchor such a pack to its inspiration. The BA M1917 Revolver could sub for the peacemaker, but for the other items, they'd require dedicated accessories. All in all, a good idea who's time has not yet come (if it ever will). Still, I'll admire I'm more than a fan of weaponry from that era, and should Will decide to continue to pursue more historically-based weaponry, it's fertile ground to cover. badger

Do you think the sawn-off shotgun BrickWorld prototype here could be thrown in there (as a question of suitability as opposed to assuming it would be fully developed at the same time as the other items e.g. the Colt Navy)?

But the current Brickarms (including prototypes) just don't fill it out!
