This is so cool! I don't have any uses for it, but I'm sure if I had one, I'd find one! :-)

Good point Edo. I'm guessing that the derringer will be a tad smaller.

When i see this i remeber a line in the first Artemis Fowl book, "an automatic Sig Sauer in a shoulder holster, throwing knives in his boots, a two-shot Derringer pistol up his sleeve, garrotte wire hidden in his watch, three stun grenades in various pockets, and a "good old ball bearing cosh stuffed down his shirt."
Whenever the Germans found the Canadian Corps coming into the line they prepared for the worst.

I never realized he had one, in that picture everyone has big revolvers and he has that little shrimp. :)

*Laughs so hard right lung bursts*
That theres a saloon girls gun! It's not desiqned for combat it was used for self defence and was about as accurate as me with my dads M16.(My aim sucks!) Anyway I still think it would be a good gun for my minifigs considering the fact that unlike the Magnum its not going to be the size of an MP5.

Here's an accurate airsoft version of a derringer pistol. Notice that it easily fits within the palm of the hand. With this accessory, Will's done a great job of keeping it large enough that it's not lost in the minifig hand but still small enough it captures the petite nature of the derringer. badger

Looks like I'm going to lose a few of those. Does it slip out of the minifig's hand at all?
Eagerly awaiting every single new BrickArm that comes out.

Nice gun, but it's just begging me to buy it, then lose it.

I think the reason I didn't like it at first is because the handle is a little bent, but in the second picture in real ABS it looks brilliant! This gun is very had to capture into lego because of proportion, but I think you guys have done it! My Flickr My Brickshelf

Sorry, but this is definetly my least favorite prototype. It just doesn't look right. I understand that the Derringer is small and all, but the real gun design just isn't suited for minifig hands... BTW when will the protos see full production?
