I dunno how well this will go down, this is an experiment - if it works and if it's funny, there will be more, if not, then it's quite simple - I will destroy the planet. Grunts - Episode 1! I'm just posting a linky here as it does feature Brickarms - standard equipment for my men, as documented elsewhere. http://www.shush-its-secret.demon.co.uk/Tabletown/images/grunts/Grunts001.jpgDr. S. Nice work and use of Brickarms! I'll be curious to see how the story unfolds.

That's pretty awesome, dude. Both the grunts have that minifig head that looks a little like Gordon Freeman, so that was a plus for me. The officer with the anime-style hair, though....
Not the greatest end to the strip, IMO. But still, nice work!

Heh, there's something about this strip that makes me chuckle. Probably the irony. Great work!

I'm still feeling my way with this, but I've taken on board a lot of the comments so far. Unless this is still too big, this is probably the format I'll adopt. Once I'm happy, I'll probably get a bit more adventurous, but here's episode 2! http://www.shush-its-secret.demon.co.uk/Tabletown/images/grunts/Grunts002.jpgDr. S. Visit Tabletown!

now THAT was great work. kudos, doc! Criticism: Well, the only thing I didn't care for was the text, seemed a little too jumpy. Didn't affect the humor though!

Hurray for Grunts! I had a little trouble seeing just what was wrong in the third panel at first though, but when I realized what it was, I laughed. I think you misspelled focused too. But I shouldn't be critiquing too much though because I love these little comics! Great job!

I just checked that and it can be spelled either way - I'm in the UK if that makes any difference. kaboom4 wrote:Why was the guy supposed to be shot? He just said "here..." No, that was the General continuing from the previous panel. The guy has painted his helmet and is standing there with a cheesy grin... Dr. S. Visit Tabletown!

These cartoons are a bit strange, but funny - I like Episode 3 best so far. Nice work!
