This is a vignette I whipped up, it depicts a Paratrooper form the 101st Airborne who didn't survive the night drop over normandy. LinkLinkParatrooper design by obxcrew, German Inspired by obxcrew Comments? Critiques? Enjoy!

Looks great! Nice idea about the head, where did you get it? It looks realy great but I think a BA german soldier would look better. But you probebly agree with me and you would have done that if you had one. Right? Looks great, Henk

Maybe, Brickfan, you could put the helmet upsidedown on the ground and give the minifig some hair. His helmet probebly fell of but that's just because I don't see a chinstrap on the minifighead. Just my opinion, henk

Wow, even a dutchman knew that! ;-) I suppose your proximity to France could've helped a bit though. (also, the fact that a quick google search could reveal answers to any and all questions) I agree on the helmet thing too. I like the vig though. It isn't all high and mighty, like "Yeah! The US RUUUUULES!!!" It's real life.

Thanks everyone! The head is from the Harry Potter Durmstrang ship, and I think its also in the Harry Potter underwater scene with the merman. As Henk said, I basically got all my inspiration from Band of Brothers and Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, etc. I do have a couple of original flesh BA Germans, but I prefer this look better.

That's awesome! Nice vig, and I agree about the head, it's perfect. Great idea and nice vignette. I've only played COD3 Splitscreen multiplayer. And it's pretty awesome. But Star Wars Battlefront 1 Mac. is the way to go. My favorite game ever, especially the online community.

henk Good point. Now that you mention it, I've known about that sense before I started researching WWII history.
