You really do like those irregular shaped bases now, don't you? I'm really digging that explosion!

I'm liking this one, but the base does seem kind of bare, maybe add some more little weeds or something? I am loving the explosion though!

The explosion is cool. I really like your baseplates, this just seems...bare. I recommend a ruined light grey wall or more folliage or a crator. My Flickr My Brickshelf

I agree with the folks here it does look kinda...empty. Perhaps you could use the torso from the BA ww2 marine sargent and replace it's arms like you did in this vig. The explosion is realy great =) Henk

I take it that this vignette is in Vietnam..from the name. Nice explosion, with the fire and bits of soil flying up..really realistic. O f course..it wouldn't be complete without the M1 helmet. -Brick Fanatic http://gondorforums.fantasyboard.net/forum.htmA fun-filled forum!!

Good job, but if you`re gonna do a vig from Vietnam, you might want swamp/jungle like surroundings, I like the injured soldier though.

Thanks, guys. Are for the bareness of the baseplate, I intended for the vignette to take place in a city, such as Saigon, where shelling would reduce the ground to mud. Mandalorian wrote:I recommend a ruined light grey wall. . . . Erm, there is one. . . . obxcrew

Looks great. The bulllet-riddled arm, I think, probably couldn't support fully loaded soldier, but hey, this is Lego so the world reacts differently ;-). Another great piece of work from Obx.
I love M21s. What, was that supposed to be funny, or what? I don't do funny. Ever. So go ahead, have your funny signatures, whilst I, for one, will keep it simple.

Thanks! Though if you look closely, you'll see that the wounded man is lying on top of his backpack, so his arm isn't actually supporting him.

Interesting...I will absolutely have to make more of my vignettes with irregular baseplates, and I like the soldier being suppported by his backpack. Did you, by the way "weld" the flames together?
It's time to go! Start packing! Are we all set? Dasvedania old BA forums, and Previet new!

I'm not sure what you mean by "weld," they're just snapped together.
