Nice going MLM I think the WWII tank crews will be most usefull, especially with the tanks that that other vendor makes. You know the tank in the background of Will's avatar. I think 4 or 1 minifigs would be most usefull. equipment: Allies, 4 minifigs custom decals realy tank crew lookalike not like the us army sargent minifig torso but a bit more "yeah whatever" look, you know let everything hang loose. 2 1911 pistols (perhaps for english version the 1917 x2) 2 m1 helmets (english version with brodie helmets "if" they ever be produced) 1 brown/black TLC pilot cap 1 grey/black knit 1 m1 garand (english version with 1 lee einfield) Possibly: wrench or hammer Axis, 4 minifig custom tank crew decals but more tight then the US tank crew. As far as I have seen, the germans where more organised in tank crew ranks then the amaricans but of course I could have it wrong. 2 mauser "broomhandle" pistols 3 grey caps like the ones currently being used for the german minifigs that Will produces 1 black cap see description the line above 1 black TLC pilot cap 1 mp40 submachine gun and also possibly: a wrench or hammer But that's just my opinion, Henk

Then again thanks for the credit MLM. I thought this suggestion could use a bump so go ahead people: please place you're comments. It would be great to see a 4 minifig set for the first time on BrickArms. Henk

I like this idea a whole lot. Henk, as far as the decals go, something more like this: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?M=iaj010 than like this: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?M=iaj005 right?

To Ranger: The first torso is OK for americans but the second torso for the germans is not that good. I mean the germans usually had grey tank suits not tan or desert. Yes they had in the desert but grey was used more in tanks as far as I know. To MlM: I like that idea, Just 1 minifig with a custom decal torso (ofcourse from both sides, allies and axis) and then you can choose whatever you want with it. But then again I think Will won't do that because you can choose for youreself wich items you want with this minifig. I mean not on the site but from you're own collection or bricklink. Please keep in mind that this suggestion was not made by me, it was made by Brad Jones. All the credit with "great suggestion" should go to him. I only fully support this idea. Thanks, Henk

Ok, I am really split on this to be honest. Part of me wants crews, but then again, I can't see the point all the way.
The Lee Enfield was the only bolt action rifle NOT to be replaced by a semi automatic rifle as its rate of fire was deemed high enough. Truely, us British do things the hard way.

The point in having tank crew minifigs is that TLC hasn't designed those yet. And besides that Tank crew minifigs look great with a lot of WWII vehicles wich are in enourmously numbers on Brickshelf and other sites. So that's why, Henk

I would be quite interested in modern tank crews: http://www.udisco.com/hobbies/pics/263020.jpgHowever, the distinctive helmet may be an issue, unless of course BrickArms does produce a "tanker" helmet.

The second link was representing Will's americans, as the brickarms site is down. Sorry for the confusion.

The TLC aviator helmet might be good for their helmets, however,I'm not exactly sure how Will would represent the headset.

kingbrick wrote: The TLC aviator helmet might be good for their helmets, however,I'm not exactly sure how Will would represent the headset. Just to give this thread a bump in the right direction. What you think kingbrick is good but there are tons of diffrent minifig heads who have headsets. left or right it is there in all forms. To GreenLead: Yes I think that would look pretty cool but what weaponnary do you think they should have and what kind of outfit? I'd like to hear that from you. As you all know I fully support this suggestion for Tanks crews, Go tank crew! Wohoo! Henk

It sounds pretty cool, but how would it look in reality? They could have a variety of different weapons and heads, so you need to think long and hard about the correct pieces.

The tank crewman ("tanker") could be armed with either a M1911 or a MP7, as they as usually contained in the safety of their armored vehicle only only use their weapons for self-defence as a last resort. Outift wise, I'd say a variation of Battle Dress Fatigues discussed here, but with a tanker helmet, of course.

^Yes that could work but I think the figures could better have a m23 pistol instead of a 1911. As for an helmet: I think something in the line of starwars rebel pilot helmets could work as Tanker helmets but the problem there is the colour. As far as I know those helmets are only available in white. Ofcourse I would like to see a custom helmet from Will but that's realy up to him to deside that. Henk
