So here's what I think is my best creation so far: The Pelican-class Mk.I Landing boat. My modern version of a landing boat wich I think looks pretty awesome. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=339890And since this is my First version, I would realy like you guys to give some suggestions on how my Mk.II should look like. Of course questions and comments are very much welcome here. Let me hear them, Henk

That`s pretty cool! I like the white line in the sides and the cockpit area, but i would try to make it a little bit bigger and ad a matching colored door.

Thanks guys with you're help (and that of the internet), I shall try to make this boat alot bigger (in length not wide, uh I don't know how to say that in english) but I don't know if i'm going to change the boat door 'cause of the shape of the door, I didn't want to have a straight door I wanted to have some shape in that door. But if I find a nice grey coloured shape tablet i'm going to use that. Please post more suggestions, Henk

Awesome! I was thinking about building something like this for my army. Do you mind if I use the net idea?

My next construction will be the MK.II version of the Pelican-Class Lander it's not yet finished because I want to hear about you guys what you would like to see as an improvement on the MK.I. (already made the Mk.II version longer so you can't suggest that). So please let me hear about what you want to see "new" on the MK.II version. Think about details, more guns, what kind of equipment to go in the boat etc. I'll be waiting for you're suggestions, Henk

Hmm...Maybe make it a little wider so that it can carry more troops

Great landing craft. maybe a more substantial turret, with an armored guard plate like in this picture. perhaps a twin mount would be good, too.
I love M21s. What, was that supposed to be funny, or what? I don't do funny. Ever. So go ahead, have your funny signatures, whilst I, for one, will keep it simple.

That's a realy great Idea i'm going to work that in my Mk.II. I'll probebly put that on the bay door of the boat. But first I need to raise the height of the side walls near the bay door about 1 or 2 studs, else some equipement can't go through the door and that's a pity. Also I need to figure out where to put a BA weapon then since the mk48 is not the main defensive turret. But i'll figure that out when i've finished the turret. As for Kingbrick: I've already made it longer and I've already said in my first or second post that I won't make it wider. I like the idea but I don't think I'm going to do that, the boat would probebly get to chubby then. Further, for those who wanna know, I could sent a sneak peek of the MkII so far. Then you could make more suggestions for it. PM me if you want a sneak peek. Please keep on suggesting =) Henk

Yeah...your right about it would look to chubby. As for another weapon, maybe you could do something with RPGs.

Hmm, good idea maybe I could put an RPG right next to the bay door (outside) i've already put a brick there that could hold a weapon/item so yes i'll probebly do that. Thanks, Henk

The design is good, but maybe add some more length to the ship, so it looks larger and more intimidating. Maybe you should mount an MK48 onto the ship?
Wait. Where are the Brickarms that are attached to the ship? Because, (unless the rules changed for the 3rd time in like, 2 weeks)can you just put minifigs in a boat that have no visible Brickarms and consider it ok?

Uuhm there is already a mk48 mounted next to the captain's seat. and i've already made it longer. Yes it does look very intimidating also because I've mounted a turret on top of the bay door. So the suggestions are good but already suggested, realy I like it that you suggest something. Thanks, Henk
