Not that I didn't like the other shotgun, but this one is cool. The folded "stock" looks kinda weird, but it also makes it look more sci-fi. Overall, its a great gun!

Ever heard of LegoWorld? Of course you did. Any Dutchman with a love for Lego has heard/ been there of Legoworld.
Hopefully the Spas will be sold after the site is online again.

This shotgun looks awesome. My friend, who loves SPAS-12s, will go insane over this.

Why are they naming it the "combat shotgun" now? Are they going to make it less-spazlike?

I have always loved the SPAS. It translates well into a BA accessory even with the stock folded (that's how it was in HL2 and I think HL1, so it's no real loss). It's nice to see a BA shotgun that doesn't have a scope or cut-marks.

Yes I think Freeman would run up to the nearest Combine Armored Vehicle and dance on the hood singing I got a shot-gun I got a shot-gun from Brickarms!

I was wondering the same. The only other time I can think of weapons being renamed is in the case of the Halo guns. Does calling the shotgun a SPAS-12 infringe on a copyright?

This is GREAT. I can now make something to do with the Sarah Connor Chronicles. I had the bare terminator, John, and Cameron but no good weapons. This shotgun was in the show plus it looks great. Nice job molder guy.

Oh my God. Insanity. This weapon begs for Terminator vigs. I wish I had seen this earlier. This is schweet beyond belief.

Edit: I know, I did see this earlier. I just wanted to do that.

Is there any particular reason that it is being marketed as "Combat Shotgun" instead of "SPAS-12"?

SPAS-12 was only a nickname for the item. What, you don't like "Combat Shotgun"? ;)

It doesn't make much of a difference to me regarding the name, as it is still a great mold nonetheless. I was just wondering why.

I'm not good at supergluing stocks onto BA weapons (I accidentaly superglued my fingers together and had to get them surgically separated (It was not fun:( I didn't like it) and so my parents banned me from using suoer glue.

So is there a possibility this shotgun will come out with a stock?

I use a special substance named "NO more nails" It works awesome. As for the stock, I don't think it will happen beacuase then it would be hard for the minifig to hold it.

I wish I could go to these conventions, though I might be able to get to Brickfair next year, if it was a little farther north.
Anyway, I saw that it is on the new sight, and I am buying the zombie weapons pack (along with a bunch of other stuff) ASAIHTC (As Soon As I Have The Cash).

Just to throw this out there, the name SPAS-12 is a name given to the gun by it's manufacturer, Franchini. It stands for Sporting Pourpose Automatic Shotgun, and it's probably copyrighted and trademarked and all that good stuff. So Will could've named it the "Combat shotgun" to avoid problems in that department. Also, if you look at the new site, lots of things are taking on a "combat" name. There's the "Combat LMG" and the "Combat Knife" just to name a couple. The combat naming system could be to make items more generally marketable, more versatile, and/or more age approprate for some of Brickarms younger costumers.

You're on the right track.

However, I already have stated in the 'BrickArms is back online' topic, and I'll restate here, that the BrickArms crew would appreciate it if ALL forum members would not speculate about any BrickArms business - whether it be release dates, name changes, missing items, etc. It only helps fuel rumours that we then have to deal with later. Thanks.
