If I think BrickArms I think weapons. I don't think Will will make this kind of microphone. What you can use instead is a potato masher grenade and use that as a microphone. What I first thought when I saw this topic was: A head Microphone with maybe a flashlight on it. You know, a tactical comm system, I think that would be great.

Something like this (military, none specific): http://www.atlanticsignal.com/pages/mil.html

Maybe this would work.

How about a black lightsaber handle (rare-ish but very cool piece) and a silver 1x1 stud?

I can't really think of any uses for a microphone, excepte for a singer or a newsman. However, a modded flashbang makes a darn good microphone.

Does everyone ignore me or something? I suggested a variant of a microphone. And this one is for COMBAT use. I think that would be a perfect adition. Please reply on this idea.

Thanks,

Henk

EDIT: Oh man I was planning to post a pretty huge vignette as my 100st post but now this won't work. ah well then it's going to be post 105.

a headset could be interesting, but a lot of minifig head decals have headsets.

Yeah I realised that myself after I posted this. Bad suggestion.

I'm sorry, I couldn't resist snorting. But a mic? Why would most people want a BA mic? Like what Henk said, I think weapons. Why do you want a mic anyway? Well, it's your descion(sorry i don't know how to spell that) but I don't think Will and obxcrew and damien and badger and co would care at all to do that. If, you want it though, who am I to stop you?

MOD - In the words of Silent Bob, "What you don't know about me could just about fill the Grand Canyon."

Don't presume to know what Will or BA staff will or will not like. Yes, BrickArms does focus on weapons, but that doesn't mean that Will might choose to do other types of accessories in the future, especially if a certain idea catches his eye. BrickArms is always on the cutting edge of minifig accessories, and Will is constantly thinking of new and exciting directions to take his business.

If anything, I do like the idea of a proper microphone. The potato masher does fill in well enough, but a more conventional microphone with a rounded top and slightly tapered body would be much more accurate. However, given the very large number of items Will's currently working on, I can't see something as somewhat niche as a microphone getting much attention for awhile.

Still, it was a good idea!

Will did design a hairdryer, but that was for part of the April Fool's Hair Salon Vignette Contest joke the forums staff pulled last April. It's nothing Will ever prototyped nor are there any plans for him to do so.
