This is my vignette... Stop the Air Assault!!! In this vignette, a squad of 8 policemen try to stop an oncoming fighter jet. This takes place in the middle of a rocky forest and the police try to camoflauge, but only a few suceed. The leader here is THE (drumroll...............................) SUPER GRENADIER!!! He is armed with 8 M67 Frag Grenades, 8 M84 Stun Grenades and 3 M24 Steilhandgranates (2 in his hands, 1 strapped to his back). The rest of the force is armed with a 2 MK48 Machine Guns, 3 PSG1 Sniper Rifles (bipods) and 1 RPG. 1. Stop the Air Assault2. Fighter Plane View3. Side View4. Fighter Plane Attackers5. Great job, but you can't really shoot down a plane with just bullets and grenades, can you? Anyways, I like the plane, and I love the detail around the entrenched troops.

Dunno why cops would be shootin down a plane in a forest, but I've always liked wrapping ropes around figs like you did with the green ones.

Of course, it depends on what sort of plane you're facing, and what level of protection it has. I do know that, during the Second World War, the Germans had a special medal that was awarding to a soldier that had shot down a plane with small arms. I read about it in a Men-at-Arms book by Osprey. obxcrew

There have been a few reports from conflicts of those planes taking enormous damage and still operating, sometimes with just one engine, and one of the wings torn to shreds.

Its possible but highly unlikely.
This is wonderful GENIUS! You just had to get those airstrike cordinates wrong didn't you, now were dead and its all your fault! Or did they poison that hotdog......
