Honestly, this vig is very sparse. You should add more plants, like trees and flowers, and cover the outpost with more leaves so it doesn't stand out. The base should have a more organic feel to it. It's very square. Maybe add tiles in different places to make an uneven ground, like a real jungle.
Also, instead of the figs just standing there, make them do something, like setting down sandbags, or reloading their rifle, or whatever else. Minifigs should be center of a good vig, so make them do something!
One more thing: A good backstory really makes a vig standout. There's this amazing place called
Dictionary.com that should help you find the right word if you seem to stumble while writing a backstory, or even a simple post (I use it all the time)
