You guys are right the lipped version is fine but I like how the non lipped keeps it simple like most legos.

The lipped version looks better on a fig, but it doesn't look like what i think a machete should look like... FINAL ANSWER: non-lipped version please!

Definitely no lip. Unless Will makes the lip a different shape, because it's kinda weird-looking.

The lipped one would be better. And if you didn't like it you could just cut it off

I know it's probably a lost cause by now, but I like the no lip version. It looks more like a machete should. With the lip it looks too fancy for such a brutal weapon. plus, without a lip, it's more versatile.

Lipped all the way man. If you want it lipless, you could always cut off the lip with an X-acto knife.

MOD - As Will has hinted elsewhere, he's recently submitted a few things to his tooler. Included was the machete, and the version he sent was . . . . . . drum roll please . . . . the lipped version!
This decision was based on the fact nearly all modern machetes have this feature, it gave the item a good deal of extra character, and should someone want a lipless version, all it would take it a few seconds of light sanding.
As the issue is now decided, I'll lock this thread. A big thanks to all the BrickArms fans who participated in this poll! While it was the only reason why Will decided to go with the version with the lip, it certainly didn't hurt! ;)
