Well, after the Trolls bought shotguns, the rest was history!

PS. I am one of a very small group of people who think Brickarms and Castle fit together perfectly! :)

Nice, Josh! The shotguns look like tiny pistols in the Troll's mitts!

Something tells me that Troll won't be going easy on the soldiers after they surrendered!

This reminds me of a game I played online once, you were an orc and you had a shotgun! Anyways, very interesting, indeed those shotguns do look like pistols.

I can only say one thing about brickarms,
They Rock.

Thanks for the comments, guys, I appreciate them! This was a fun, quickie build. The troll has been standing up on one of my shelves for a week now. So I had to build him a scene.

You are right, the shotguns look like pistols. Originally he had pistols, but they vanished in his hands. In fact, even with shotguns, I had a hard time getting good pics. In the first pictures I took, you couldn't tell what he was holding. I was also going to have him holding RPGs, but they are too long. They hit his arm, so he has to hold them at a weird angle. Will, I don't know what you were thinking. Why didn't you plan on new weird troll arms?! ;) I could have cut them down, but that would be...like...customizing or something. :)

Josh

Edit. I see that my smileys didn't work. Is there a reason that we don't have those two?

I like this idea. Come on Will, make us some troll-scaled guns. Pretty please? We'll send you pie.

Unlike Special Agent Dale Cooper, Will cannot be tempted with pipping-hot cherry pie and a darn fine cup of hot, black coffee. If what you're interested in are Brickarms heavy accessories, though, Will is aware there's an interest in such items.

Thank you! The troll comes in the new Castle set: Dwarves Mine

There will also be trolls in two new sets next year.

Hilarious! What two new sets will the Troll be included in?

Thanks for the link - those new sets are pretty cool. You don't think LEGO has received any inspiration from the Lord of the Rings, do you? ;)

Hehe. Love the way the title corresponds to the topic. Also where did you get the trolls from? Call me whatever you want, but ive never seen them before. Is it part of the crusaders set?

[MOD - See above posts regarding in what sets the troll can be found. Right now the only set that features this figure is the "Dwarves Mine" although several other new Castle sets for 2008 will feature it as well. - badger]
