what colors will the bat be available in?
In WW1, when the Central powers were notified that the Canadians were in the other trench, they knew it would be a tough fight.

I am "Will", not "will". Second, I will let you know when it is coming, just not quite yet. :)

You could also make special silver ones with black handle (metal bat)

As for multi-colored bats, as they'd require a multi-step injection process to produce, they aren't likely to ever be widely available. Still, that was an interesting idea! badger

The Lego Solider wrote:You could also make special silver ones with black handle (metal bat) As soon as I made my first one, my middle son (the All Star) colored it to produce a two-toned item just just like the Easton Stealth bat he owns. He was very proud of it! I have produced a couple of two-part injected bats, and while they were a lot of fun, they were very difficult to inject correctly. In order to pull them off successfully, I would need to produce another prototype mold designed specifically for an overmold process, .

Quote:Does this mean your using my idea? :O Uh.. no. It means that Will's (middle) son had the same idea - but before any of you even knew this item existed. Further, Will clearly stated that a two-colour bat would require a totally different mold design. I have a feeling it's unlikely to happen. Quote:will aussie custom decals be selling any exclusives at brickworld 2009? What? Aussie Custom Decals wouldn't be at BrickWorld in 2009. BrickWorld is a US convention. Further, Aussie Custom Decals is no longer a re-seller of BrickArms products. The Jester Laughs Because The World Is Full Of Fools

Okay, I'm going to remind everyone that this thread is about the baseball bat prototype that appeared at BrickWorld. It is -not- about re-sellers or other conventions.
And I'm also going to remind you, commander coops, to review the forum guidelines before making any further posts. Proper grammar (or as close as you can come to it, we don't expect perfection) and NOT to double-post are in the rules that you agreed to follow by signing up for this forum. Further, the word is 'relatives,' not 'relos.' Relos is not a word.
I've already had to moderate or outright delete a number of your posts due to rule infractions. If this continues, you will be suspended.
Back on topic, everyone.

the enigma that is badger wrote:No, the top end of the baseball bat is just a tiny bit smaller. Actually, that part of the bat fits perfectly into a TLC stud-sized (Technic) port. Yeah, and so does the stick grenade. So it must be a small enoguh difference so that it doesn't matter. A Company, 6th Platoon, 3rd Squad My Forum-Please join! LEGO-Imitated, never equalled.

You could just use silver bats insted of doing the double injection thing... I think that would look nice and it would keep it simple. By the way nice work Will i've been trying to make a bat for years.

I would really find a silver bat helpful as I need it to finish my scout fig
