I produced a very limited number of BrickArms Bats upon the collective urging of my wife, son, and Badger! All wanted to see a good baseball bat, so I produced a prototype mold, and injected a few for the show. Needless to say, they were very popular, and I had less than a handfull to bring home after the show. I even brought a few purple ones (plastic leftover from The Chief's needler), and they sold out almost as soon as I added them to the tray.

You can expect to see the BrickArms Bat coming soon from BrickArms.com

Interesting note: I had no idea that the Wheeling, IL (where BrickWorld is held) is actually Cubs territory, not Sox territory. This fact was brought to my attention repeatedly on Saturday, so by Saturday night I had whipped up a quick Cubs minifig to accompany the Sox minifig on the display, and the comments ceased. Whew!

I bet badger was one happy camper :-)

I saw the purple on in the bin on flickr, but couldn't find any other pictures. They sound interesting, though!

You really outdid yourself with stuff for BrickWorld, Will.

EDIT: Cool, first response!

Cool maybe you could get like a fake brand engraved on the side so it's even more authentic.

Haha! Still, the Baseball Bat is pretty cool. Were the Sox (and Cubs) figs being sold? Or just the bats?

Just the bats. The Sox and Cubs logos are protected, so I can't sell them on minifigs without bring the wrath of Major League Baseball upon my head. :)

And that would be bad . . . they probably have really good lawyers :D

It is kind of a bummer that you can't sell them, though. It would be cool . . . a BrickArms baseball team!

But Will has a crack team of Moderators who are all way too familiar with the workings of firearms. And lawyers are already just asking for it.

Ian (my youngest son) puts together most of the displays, and I didn't notice this until halfway through the show.

Hahaha! The fig is just standing there, while the other fig crashes head on into the baseball bat. Maybe Ian didn't like that fig.

...No. He's not. Badger and myself are just friends of Will. Neither of us are related to him that we are aware of.

Can't wait to buy some of these. BTW, Will, what is that thing, being used to hold the lewis gun on the plane? or is it part of the weapon?

Some links: Sniper technique. Some Minifigs, more minifigs, Brickshelf, Flickr. Enough; parts: 1, 2, 3. Assassination is back! Part 6
