A RAMM sniper takes aim at his faraway prey. Credit for the ghillie suit goes to Nick. More photos here. A Russian lies wounded by an unseen RAMM sniper, while his insurgent comrade is forced to remain behind cover. More photos here. The overall scene (the spacing isn't accurate, of course). Thanks for looking!

Obx you did it again! Another pair of great vignettes! Is the weapons the sniper is holding a m21 or a Garand mod? Also how'd you get a Brown MK48, I've never seen one?

A prototype M14/M21 perhaps, but very cool as usual. I love your Ghillie Suit technique.

Awesome ghillie suit, obxcrew. I've seen it on Kcaster's Flickr page somewhere, but yours looks smaller. I also really like the seperate scenes for the sniper and his prey. I'll have to borrow that ghillie concept. The sniper's scene kind of reminds me of this section of a book I was reading called "Trigger Men", which was about snipers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. There was a part in it where it said that since Iraq is mostly urban combat, there is no need for ghillie suits, but some Marine snipers came up with a very clever idea of wearing their ghillie suits while sniping insurgents from a city park. Sweet fig, obxcrew!

I like the use of the prototype M21, and the sniper's ghillie suit/hide is very interesting. I like it. BAfan13 wrote:Where did you get the M21? He's a mod :-)

Yep, he's done it again. Great Vig, really like the 100% Lego ghillie suit. The two scenes to the vig are a nice touch. Along with the trademarked "obx bullet holes" ;0)

Nice vig, Obx. Your work is an inspiration to us all! This scene reminds me- sort of- of all that time spent crawling through Chernobyl... ;-)

Thanks for the kudos, everyone!
The weapon is a prototype M21 Sniper Rifle which was given to select attendees of BrickWorld. Though I didn't have the chance to attend, I'm part of the BrickArms Staff and therefore am privy to prototypes of products still in flux.
Fun fact: I originally suggested that Will enlongate the scope on the M21. :D

Well done, Obxcrew, but everyone showing off there prototypes keeps making me closer to going off the deep end! (Sorry, that was a little random.) Just another fantastic vig to add to your great collection.

What I like about that M14 is that its not the horribly distorted EBR version. Gotta love the classics.
