the enigma that is badger wrote:Sir Norman Ray wrote:Personally, I would quite happily pay Will for one. I can't do custom stickers and all that, so I'd prefer to buy something straight from Will or another supplier to have a British soldier ready for me to start collecting. I just know I'd mess the job up, so I'd leave it to the professional's. Well, keep in mind the decals Will used for this fig can be bought directly from Fine Clonier. I've used several of Kaminoan's waterslide decals in the past, and they're always of great design and high quality. However, with the Brodie, Lewis Gun, and several other plans for British items on the table, a custom BA Tommy fig is certainly a possibility, although nothing definite is planned as yet. badger Other Plans? Blooming 'eck Badger, when you write, a little part of me becomes a little less cynical. Moving on, I'm not doubting that the quality provided here is good, but going on my own personal experiences with transfers with Games Workshop products, I'm no good. Like I said, a professional like Will selling these would certainly earn my custom. Don't make me nasty and cynical again people. We all know what I'm like.

That is so awesome! I wish I could have gotten to Brickworld '08 and gotten a brodie helmet, or at least seen it up close.
I love M21s. What, was that supposed to be funny, or what? I don't do funny. Ever. So go ahead, have your funny signatures, whilst I, for one, will keep it simple.

I only brought a handful, so very few attendees actually received one. I gave a couple to some hard-core military minifig builders, and a couple to folks that review items for blogs (like Nannan for Brothers Brick). I wore a silver brodie-helmeted minifig sporting a silver Lewis Gun on my attendee badge, and it turned quite a few heads!

Ooh, I have an urge to use these as medieval helms. Medieval troops with Brodies, and armed with machetes. I can't wait!

Thats what we have been asking. Badger has hinted it MAY happen, as apparently there is further British equipment being looked into. All we can do is wait and see.

Looks great, cant wait to see those helmets offered for sale! Will indeed be perfect for both WWI & WWII. I'm sure my British minifigs are tired of wearing radar dishes as helmets! :)

Very nice, now the chaps can have some protection. Of course I don't have any British troops at the moment, but oh well.

It's called waiting patiently. I have faith, that Will shall release something a little special with this. Possibly, a British Minifig with the Lewis Gun, or maybe, just maybe, something else. Obviously, this is just wild speculation. But it has been hinted after all. Let us wait, stroke our chin stubble, and see...

I'm very excited for this. :) I love WWII, especially British equipment and weapons. I also really like castle, and it can be used in that theme too. (Like Damien said) I'm quite anxious. :) flickr<.<

He found a way to make the helmet in this case. Most likely it's simplicity helped him design it well, as it doesnt actuall go over a minifig head like other helmets, just sits on top.
