Out of all the non firearms(Clever, Machete, KA-BAR, Bat and Nun-chuck) the No-lip Machete is my favorite.

Again, this keeps happening to me but I don't know why. I think it's because there are so many great minifigs/weapons/pruducts such as the Ka-Bar coming soon.

All hail the Chapman family (For their great comitment to the BA Company and for providing great LEGO Compatible accessories since 2006) and Enigma that is Badger (For trying out the prototypes and attending BrickWorld to help out at the BA Booth even though I wasn't there and for helping out with the BA Company as the Official Spokesman) and Damien (For trying out these awesome weapons and announcing them to the public as weall as creating custom decals for the excusive BA Minifigs) and Obxcrew (For contibuting to the BA Company and trying out the new products as well as aattending BrickFair to help out Will ath the BA Booth)

BTW, does the advent of all of these BA bladed weapons mean that there may possibly be a, say, "bladed weapons" section of the BA website added in the near future, or will these simply be placed in with all the other firearms?

There are a number of edged items on the BA drawing board, and we should see most of them prototyped before BrickFair in Aug, if the CNC keeps running smoothly.l

Ooh. . . .New BA Melee weapons (Only if the CNC keeps running smoothly like Will said) for the goodie bags at BrickFar. . . .

Great to see and read that there are 'bladed weapons' on the drawing board. The Ka-Bar and Machete look great btw!

The oft-requested comparison of the BrickArms KA-BAR with the TLC Knife:

Wow, awesome stuff, badg! The KA-BAR is much, much more detailed and better-sized then the TLC virsion.

Perhaps it's better to not know a deadline then to know one, that way it keeps our bodies from streaming bodily fluids in anticipation... but perhaps thats just me...

You're good Kid, real good, but as long as I'm around you'll always be second best, shee?

Cool as, Great work Will!!

Maybe I will be able to use the KA-BAR as a bayonet for my WWII Minifigs.

Outstanding work on the Ka-Bar and machete. I just hope it comes in camo. If it did come in camo would that mean all the other weapons would be too?

So, is Will really going to make nun-chucks? (or thinking about it)

The machete is my favorite too

If we didnt have Brickarms, how would we know that pretending to shoot lego with plastic guns is actually pretty fun?

The KA-BAR design is likely finalized, but the final production version of the machete will likely feature the lip. I have several different designs of machete accessories Will prototyped, and in the minifig hand, the lipped versions just look a lot more polished.

The nunchucks are a 2-step operation. First, I mold the chain in flexible plastic, and then I overmold the solid (rigid) ABS handles for strength. Because of thie 2-step process, it will never be a production item. However, it may be something I can produce in limited quantities with my own injection gear. We'll see.

That would be cool. The nun-chucks are very unique.

I recieved both of these items, as well as the cleaver at one point... can't tell you how. :-) The lipped machete is an incredibly versatile accesory, and the KABAR is simply amazing. It is versatile, fits in well with minifigs and can be used in several different ways. I've gotta say that these are some of my favorite BA items to date. I'll try to post some photos later.

I personally like the lipped one.

If the lip was shaped like the one the obxcrew posted, then I will be fine. But if it is like the one Damien posted, I would rather have the non-lipped one.

This statement makes absolutely no sense. OBX and I were using the exact same prototype in our pictures. His lipped machete and mine are the exact same except for colour.
