Neat. Could use that for a terrorist or something like that. Or make a Assassins creed vig. One of the two

Good design, but I'd title it Broadsword. Thats the style of sword a Dao is, which that blade highly resembles.

If you read this thread, you'll see this issue has already been addressed. For the record, when its released, this item will be marketed under the name "BrickArms Dadao" badger

Isn't that called a Sabre. I thought a cleaver was a meat knife......

Please try to read up before making a comment. In any event, no -- a saber/sabre is an entirely different kind of sword. This kind of sword is a Chinese dadao, which roughly translates to 'cleaver.' Hence it being called a cleaver in the prototype phase. The Jester Laughs Because The World Is Full Of Fools

Awesome, but I think there's a website that already offers this. Nice job, though.

Perhaps you're thinking of this: If so, that item is based on the Persian shamshir (scimitar) rather than the Chinese Dadao, is much smaller and thinner than the BA Dadao, and, at least in my completely and utterly unbiased opinion, has a much less refined design (flat front rather than a true edge on the blade, obvious injection point, relative inaccurate compared to its real-life inspiration). If Will were to design a shamshir, it'd look very different from that! badger

I agree 100% I used to be a hand held weapon fanatic so I know what I'm talking about. (When I was 2-4yrs old I was interested in Genghis Khan and various other middle eastern dudes. Then when I was 5-6 i was interested in knights. The when I was 7-9 were pirates. Then when I was 10-12 I was intersested in WWI-WWII. Now I am more modern - futuristic but every once and a while my old love will be kindled:D. I need some one to make an Anastatian Bomber (Airplane). PLEASE!! Thanks! PM me if you are gonna do it! Yeah, I prefere the design of the Dadao rather than the scimitar, and Will did a good job of it. This is something I'd definately buy. :D "Decal Artists are like Rockstars! They're popular, have their own groupies and loyal fans."My Flickr

With the new longsword, rapier and this dadao, and maybe the gun blade, it'd be cool if Will made a melee wapons pack.
But I'll buy them in pack or separately when they're released anyway so... XD
