If you thought you had seen everything that would give BrickArms "the edge" at BrickWorld this year . . . . you'd be wrong!Introducing another fantastic prototype Will is unveiling at BrickWorld: the BrickArms Cleaver! With unparalleled power behind its slash and chop, the BrickArms Cleaver is deadly even in the hands of a novice. Able to cut through armor and bone with a single stroke, this imposing weapon was inspired by the legendary Chinese da dao, a design that saw use on the front lines of warfare all the way to World War II and was reputed to remove the heads of enemies with ease. The BrickArms cleaver is an excellent choice for any figure who wants an truly imposing blade by their side!As with any prototype, there is no release date set for this item nor is the design the final one. However, don't expect the design to change much (if at all) when the accessory sees full production. badger

Wow, I never saw this coming. I must admit that I don't think I'd use this much, but since it's Brickarms, I'll buy it :)
You're good Kid, real good, but as long as I'm around you'll always be second best, shee?

Things keep getting better and better! Well, if you play LEGO Indiana Jones the Videogame, they actually have swords like this, and there's a cut scene praying tribute to this moment. But, yeah, looks great! I like the detail on it as well.
Target confirmed! Tommy Minifig has been sighted with Lee Enfield. Commence firing your sidearms wildly in the air in celebration in three, two, one...

It's much more to scale with the minifig than the TLC scimitar which, though it looks like a cool pole weapon with one of these attached, looks way oversized when using it alone. This is is awesomely scaled though, plus the edge looks really menacing. Someone needs to make Genghis Khan when these come out.
Remember kids, bley and dark grey can look good together so long as you don't mix them up randomly.

While it looks kinda cool I find no use for this item and it seems outlandish for Brickarms.

I just wanted to point out that Chinese troops often used cleavers in combat during WWII. Combined with the fact that this will also be perfect for more ancient armies, there are plently of practical uses for the BA Cleaver.
"People are dying, Alfred. What would you have me do?" "Endure, Master Wayne. Take it. They'll hate you for it, but that's the point of Batman, he can be the outcast. He can make the choice that no one else can make, the right choice."
