Dang, I'm not to sure I like the concept of BrickArms going 'melee'. The only melee one I really like is the KA-BAR and thats just about it. What I definately will get is the lewis, M21, Needler, Helmet, and KA-BAR. Though, I most likely will get all of the new mold so I can have a full BrickArms collection.

So many COD4 Mocs can be made with the M21 in your hands. Wait, they're coming. If I let them see this they'll hold me hostage until they come out.

The Tommy. He looks so brilliant. Whilst I would prefer a Lee Enfield, Sten or Bren, I am completely in love and as soon as it goes for sale I will be buying large amounts of them.

Target confirmed! Tommy Minifig has been sighted with Lee Enfield. Commence firing your sidearms wildly in the air in celebration in three, two, one...

Will and Badger,
Great to meet you guys at Brickworld. Thanks for the machette prototype and the brown weapons pack that you included in the goodie bags. Much appreciated. The baseball bats are great, and will definately be seeing some use in Gangland MOCs. Of course my minifigs are doing much better now that they have enough assault rifles to be properly equipped.

After two years of doing this, I think that stocking up on Brickarms at Brickworld is defeinately going to be a fixture on my calendar for some time to come.

To me, mold 4 doesn't seem very far away anymore... I can't wait to get pretty much one of everything!

Yea, I mean alot of the things are already prototypes, and as various mods have said, some are in their final stage!

First of all, remember that BrickArms has switched to counting by series now. So it would be Series 4, rather than Mold 4. Just sounds better. (And is more accurate.) :)

Secondly, don't get your hopes all up and spin yourselves about just yet. Yes, certian designs are in their final stages of design at this point. But keep in mind that, unless made by Will at home, the item has to be accompanied by enough items to fill a good-size mold. So while one design may be finished, you need to remember that a bunch more have to be finished before the mold goes to press, so to speak.

Further, you guys have no idea how long some items in Series 2 were finished before anything official was even announced. It can be a long wait. So try not to get -too- excited about something coming out soon. But keep checking the forums here, of course -- when something is ready for release, this is where you'll hear it first.

It was great meeting the Brickarms crew including Will and his family and Badger. You got some really great stuff there and it was fun to see the molds and the custom minifigs and especially the new prototypes. Best of all, thank you so much for the free gifts. I will forward them to Andrew Becraft to be photographed with his minifigs. Expect to see a few of them on Brother's Brick soon!

Here's a pic of the BrickArms crew!

I'm now considered part of the BA crew? I didn't know that! Sweet!

Here's my "review" of BA at BW:
Friday, around noon: Arrived at BrickWorld 2008! This was my first LEGO convention, and I was pretty much in shock for the first hour or so. I did, of course, stop by the BA booth. At the time, only Badger was there, but I got to chat with him (he's really cool) and he showed me some of the prototypes and gave a brown Auto-9 for the filling out the survey (most of the stuff in the it were the most popular weapons in the "suggestions" forum, but it does look like Will is interested in doing the kind of mold that would allow him to make helmets and torso accessories).

Then Will arrived! with a bunch of stuff! NEEDLERS (out of all the HALO guns that have been suggested, the needler was the one I least expected Will to make)! Will brought back
the marine sergeant! And what's this? After carefully guarding the secrets of what they're working on on the forums, they left the bin of prototypes on a chair for all to see (well, not all, but anyone who cared to look a little closer)! Then, through some twist of fate, Will and Badger sat next to me at the opening ceremony (although I was to shy to try to start a conversation. All I could think was "ZOMG, I'm sitting next to Will Badger!")!

Saturday, I purchased The Chief, Marine Sergeant, MedKit, a brown Garand, plus a bunch of other weapons, and got my FREEBAP, a silver machete. Later that day, once the public had died down, I got a chance to hang out at the BA booth and talk with Will. During our conversation, Will handed me something that look like a cream colored BA-M5 and told me that he only had a few because it happened when he was doing something with colors and that it would glow in the dark red (which it does quite nicely)! Thanks Will! I love it and already have some plans to put it to good use! Also, when I finished deciding what weapons to get with my last spare dollars, Will gave me, as an extra weapon, a half-brown half-silver Mk-48!

Sadly, I had to leave soon afterwards, but that was some of the most fun I've ever had in my life and it never would have happened if I hadn't heard about it on the BA forums.
Thank you, and see you next year!

P.S. The reason I said I'm a member of the BA crew is because the picture has me in it (barely) examining The Chief minifig.

Was great to finally get to meet you guys (Will and Badger) and thanks for bringing over the M1 G for the marine we had on the table Badger, appreciated. Sorry i didn't get a chance to come by and say bye on Sunday, but we were absolutley swamped and i know you were too from what i could see across the room(we sent a ton of people y'alls way cause they wanted weapons too )... but we had to leave by 3 to get to the airport to catch a plane.

Hopefully we can have some time to hang out more at the next convention :)

ABSOLUTLY loved the new needler, sad that you won't be producing it, cause you know i want one... heck my cortana needs something to play with...

oh yea, Saturday night we had fun with some of Adam's big buildings :) hehe... i know we have a awesome shot of Jared's hitman with a sniper on one of the buildings... as soon as he has the shots uploaded, will definatly send it your way

Wow! I see 1, 2, 3 . . . 14 minifigs! Can't wait to find out what they are!

I also see Ian, the lead BA design-checker . . . and I guess that's Will's wife . . .

Badger certainly looks happy to be there ;)

Sweet! I like the mold in the last pic. Is that the Auto-9's prototype mold?

EDIT: I just noticed that badger has his custom Shadow minifig on his nametag. That's cool. I don't see Will's British soldier on his tag, though . . . guess he hadn't put it on yet.

Yes. That is one of the first prototype molds for the Series 3 guns. I brought it to the show this year to give to Badger as a memento, and as a small thank-you for his contributions over the year. It is one-of-a-kind, and so is he! :)

Yes, I was very happy to be there! I'll post more thoughts about my BrickWorld experience in a bit.

Yep, like Will said, that's the first prototype mold ever produced on Will's home CNC machine, and I'm very proud that it was for an item for which I was a strong advocate.

What I love about that display is that you can see the inspiration (an Auto-9 replica pellet gun), the prototype mold, and the final production accessory all together. This let me powerfully illustrate the level of detail and high degree of accuracy Will packs into a single BrickArms accessory.
