[MOD - Under my Member info or any of my posts, there's a button that says "PM." You can use this function to send members a message that only they can read. This is how you should send me your contest entry. - badger]

I'm not really keen on that golden gun- thing. What I'm really interested in is that spy carbine. I'd like to buy it someday.
Sadly I might not come from my holiday in time to entry that contest.
What's the point in living without BrickArms?

Just wondering, do Special Ops soldiers count as spies? For instance, I have an SAS Minifig, would he be allowed in this contest?
[MOD - As long as the minifig has a definative covert feel, yes. - obxcrew] Thanks Obxcrew!
The pen is mightier than the sword, they say... but they didn't count on the machine gun! I'm looking to make a Halo shotgun and sniper rifle. If you have any suggestions, could you PM them to me? Thanks. Look behind you.... You're about to be dead.

Can I have a row of Barbed wire: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=bb367 behind my spy? So long as there's a white background behind the barbed wire, sure. Props in the picture are acceptable as long as they're subdued and minimal. Transporter 3

Is it absolutely imperative that my photos be against a plain white background? I've already taken the photos and was taking another look at the rules to see what I should resize them to when I noticed that clause. My pictures are outside against the background of a large rock in my front yard, and some very out-of-focus bushes. The background is not obtrusive at all, and the photos are, if I say so myself, pretty good. Will these be acceptable, or should I re-shoot with a white backdrop?
Sorry it took so long to respond. Ideally the photos should have been retaken. But since no one was able to respond to your question, we'll let it slide. If you've taken new pictures already, that's great. But if you only have the ones without a white background, go ahead and submit them with a note to Badger in your PM that I okayed it. --Damien

Perhaps Badger can post a list of all those people whose entries he recieved, rather than each person individually asking. Just an idea.
[MOD - As a lot of people have submitted entries and I'm currently very busy with other matters, I don't have the time to list them all. I do, however, have a master list I can easily check, so if you're really that concerned, just PM me. - badger]

Yay! Do you announce the winners today?
Not a chance. First we have to wait for Badger to close the entries thread we have set up (meaning, we have to be sure all entries have been listed). Then the judges have to vote. Then the votes have to be counted. It's a fairly long process, made longer depending on how many entries there are. This contest seems to have gotten quite a lot of entries, so it could take awhile.
Winners will be announced as soon as we know who the winners are. Be patient, though.
