*************FOR YOUR EYES ONLY*************

The BrickArms Forums Spy Minifig Contest

Your mission if you choose to accept it: produce a spy-themed custom minifig!

Rules

1) The figure must include at least one BrickArms accessory. This includes any custom weapon or minifig element that is a product of BrickArms. Elements that are sold as part of BrickArms custom minifigs but are not the produced by BrickArms do not apply.

For example: the torso with the custom tuxedo decal that is part of the Spy Bond figure would count as a use of a BrickArms product, while the police dog from the K9 Kop figure would not.

2) The figure must be a completely new and original, never-before-displayed custom that is entirely your own work.
If any part of the entry has previously been showcased elsewhere or any part is the figure is the result of someone else's work, the entry will be disqualified.

3) The figure must fit the covert theme. The more sleek, silent, and deadly, the better!

___________________________________________________________________________________________________

Entries must include:

1) Two well-photographed pictures of the figure against a plain white background. Pictures must be no larger than 600 x 600 pixels in size. Low quality pictures will have a negative impact on how the figure is judged, so be sure and take some good shots!

2)A brief dossier describing your figure. The dossier should include the following:

Codename
Real Name
Nationality
Affiliation
Specialties
Weapon(s) of choice
Operational History (must not exceed 100 words in length)

A sample dossier for the BrickArms Spy Bond custom minifig:

Codename: 007
Real Name: J.B.
Nationality: British, of Scottish origin
Affiliation: MI6
Specialties: Assassination, Seduction
Weapon(s) of choice: Tactical PPK
Operational History: Joined MI6 after successful career with OSS. Successfully completed several mission countering SMERSH and SPECTRE aggression against British interests. Languages include French, German, some Japanese. Married once, wife deceased. Currently on active duty. Conclusion: nobody does it better.

Assuming your spy fig doesn't specialize in fighting sans weaponry, one.

Hmm...I'm not realy good at making covert things like s spy. But I'll try. Just a question, can we use decals from another vendor or do I have to make my own?

Incorporating other sellers' products into your fig is fine. However, keep the "at least one custom BrickArms element" rule in mind.

Quick question, we send in 2 pictures right? Can one of them be different than the other? (EX: James Bond in a Tactical suit and James Bond in a dress suit.)

Oh boy! I was made for this contest! I am a James Bond fanatic!

Vot WWII weapons for 2009! And together we can mow down Jerry or maybe even some pesky Allies to a brighter more violent future!

Slight differences in the fig (with or without a helmet, holding different weapons) are fine, but a completely different torso is not as it would make for a separate, distinct fig.

Doh! Dang. I was going to have my fig have two weapons. Oh well, now what weapon should I use?

Note that kaboom4 asked about the minimum number of weapons. You can incorporate as many weapons as you'd like to into your fig.

Sweet! I am not so good at vigs but figs are my style! Does the minifig have to be yellow or Fleshie, does it matter? Also does a picece of paper count as a plain white background?

Question, is it like a James Bond style spy. Or like a covert-ops spy like Solid Snake

Is there a limit to the number of entries per person?

Doesn't matter. Yellow or any shade of flesh are fine.

Mandalorian wrote:

Yes, a piece of white paper works perfectly as a plain backdrop. Its what I use for all my photography, actually.

As the rules state, any spy-themed fig is appropriate.

Horatio wrote:

One entry per person.
