This is my first version of the British Bren LMG. Does anyone have any suggestions to make it even more Bren-like?

Very good! I will have to try this some time.
Vot WWII weapons for 2009! And together we can mow down Jerry or maybe even some pesky Allies to a brighter more violent future!

This is very nice, kaboom. I am impressed. Very bren. I can't think of anything to improve on, it looks excellent. I wonder if Sir Norman Ray has seen this? :-)

I love the simplicity. But. There's a hollow space under the magazine! That's not right...Right? A Company, 6th Platoon, 3rd Squad My Forum-Please join! LEGO-Imitated, never equalled.

Thanks, guys! @Mr. Smooth: Yes, there is supposed to be a hole there. Although there wouldn't be a magazine there, I'll just use it as a handle.

Holy freakin' crap! I was going to try to make that with a psg1 stock, ak-47 ammo magizine, an mk48 body with little modifications, and some kind of pistol handle, but that is AWESOME!

I wonder if Sir Norman Ray has seen this? :-) Sir Norman Ray has seen it. Sir Norman Ray sees all. Sir Norman Ray speaks in the third person until his first mug of coffee is drained. Sir Norman Ray approves this gun. It's freaking sweet, probably one of the best Modifications Sir Norman Ray has ever seen (including Sir Norman Ray's time playing Warhammer 40,000) and Sir Norman Ray hopes that if the mysterious British weapon Will has hinted at is either this weapon or a weapon to accompany this so we can all mod it.
The Lee Enfield was the only bolt action rifle NOT to be replaced by a semi automatic rifle as its rate of fire was deemed high enough. Truely, us British do things the hard way.

Very cool idea. I made one last night but my only suggestion would be to move the magazine back so that the solid area is underneath.

Thanks to everybody, especially Sir Norman Ray, for their kind comments. The Sissy CSI: The Bren has always had it's magazine in front of the trigger guard, as seen here.

If so, you might wanna fill in that gap with some epoxy or black paint(lots of it). A Company, 6th Platoon, 3rd Squad My Forum-Please join! LEGO-Imitated, never equalled.

Heh, thats ok mate! But I have to agree, the gap does kinda put it off. Either trim the handle off before attaching the magazine, or fill it with something a bit more solid (not paint.) Games Workshop does a substance called Green Stuff, where you roll a green and yellow strip together to create moddling clay that tries up rock hard. Get some of that, mix it up, stick it in, wait for it to dry then throw some quick black paint perhaps?
