Today in the U.S. we celebrate Memorial Day, which is the day where we honor the fallen heroes that served in the armed forces of the United States. Here is a WWII Grave I've created, which features a BA M1 Garand and a BA M1 Helmet. Note: The M1 Helmet is a BA Medic Helmet. I do not own any regular M1 helmets. WWII GraveEnjoy Chris

Nicely done, and the grainy sepia-look is a great touch.

Very cool. Catches the moment well. How did you get the helmet cross thing?

Nice job. I like how you got the helmet to stay on the Garand. This is a memorial- "For us, the storm has passed, the war is over. But let us never forget those who ventured into the howling dark, and did not return. For their decision required courage beyond measure. Sacrifice, and unbreakable conviction that their fight, our fight, was elsewhere. As we start to rebuild, this hillside will remain barren, a memorial to heroes fallen. They ennobled all of us, and they shall not be forgotten.” (Salute) -Lord Hood of the UNSC Navy Sorry. It reminds me of the Human-Covenant War in Halo 3. Nice job, the helmet propped up looks great, and the grainy look adds to the effect.

I like it as well that visual is very reminiscent of cover images used on Sgt. Rock when one of easy company was killed.
