I think a PPsh-41 would be a nice addition to the BA line up. It has a very unique design and is modifiable and is a classic to boot. I made my own in MS paint the only problem with it is the grip would have to be slimed down for a minifig. ActualMineDo you like the PPSH-41 as a potential for The BA lifestyle: The cool and Plastic?

I love the PPSh-41, and feel it definitely deserves a BrickArms mold. It has a lot of historic importance, and is extremely cool looking. Lastly, it can be used in both WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam-war era MOCs (and perhaps even Iraq and Afghanistan war creations).

Through so many wars it's not even funny, it deserves a spot in brickarms.

I love it as well, i still remember the old days of call of duty 2 when the 360 first came out, mowing down germans with it. Anyway back on topic. I think this gun would work in almost all of the categories. WW era, Modern Era, and maybe just maybe Sci-Fi as it looks quite futuristic i think.
just my 2 still canadian cents :)

I would think to make "dents" in the barrel like the "dents" on the xeno pulse rifle.

PPsH, pshaw. The Suomi KP-31 is what you want!

I think it would be great to have a WWII Russian weapon in the BA line. There's already the Thompson for the USA and the MP-40 for the Germans, so why not the PPSh?

Absolutely one of the coolest weapons and really fun mission while using it.
Just think....without Wikipedia, we'd have to take our time and google up our suggested guns...

yes, one of the cheapest and yet most effective sub machine guns ever built. It would make a great brickarms weapon and would do my russian minifigs great honor to have one.

Ppsh-41 is one of the greater Russian SMGs, IMO. It's heavy, has a nice size for its drum magazine, and is accurate to some degree (from what i hear). It is awesome in my favorite WWII "vidya gaem", Call of Duty 2. Spray n' pray, but has in-game accuracy.
And yeah, Tom beat me to the punch. Cheap, easy to make, and effective on the field. Any Russian soldier with a Ppsh-41 was considered the highest priority for German Snipers, due to the weapon's notoriety. Also, to switch to the next model, the Ppsh-42 was the start for the AK-47. I personally would also like the Ppsh-42 for a brickarms weapon.

I am not a big fan of older guns, but I love the Ppsh's unique design, (and it firepower in COD2). I don't like its lack of handle (Is that the right word for what the trigger is usually near?) much, but adding one would make it less recognizable. I really like its drum magazine. Overall, I think it would be a great Brickarm.

Actually, the term is pistol grip. Yes, adding a pistol grip would not only make it less recognizable, but also historically inaccurate. I think that a PPSh-41, if made by BrickArms, should be made so it can be held like the upcoming M1 Garand.

Yeah, Obx has a good point. The Garand would be held over the chest, and the head facing horizontally to make it look like the minifig is firing, and the same can be done with the Ppsh-41. Heck, a lot of the weapons in WWII didn't have a pistol grip, not counting the American and German SMGs, respectively (Thompson and MP40/44). The Sten could be designed the same way, but that's a different topic.
