Wind swept across the barren plane. Decades had past since the last, great war which had wiped out almost all of manking. Those that survived found their planet mainly a giant dustball, and few countries had survived total devestation. In England no word has been heard, as it is thought that an experimental defense weapon saved most of the country, but has shut it's borders. Lise apparently goes on in the UK< but few other places did so well. America suffered badly, and with most of the remaining population now hunkering around in shanty towns, around nuclear bunkers and by the coast, most want to survive and make peace. But America, being so large, has lost area's. So what counts as official government sources in this new USA regularly hires mercenaries and other types to go forth into the giant desert, and find survivors. Robert flicked the safety off his MP5 as he approached the building. Around the side was Big, armed with his shotgun. Both Robert and Big had served in the army, and only Robert knew why he had the nickname. Johny wasbehind Robert, his AK47 in a relaxed pose. Robert had never seen such fast reflexes in a man, but he was confident about his safety. Bringing up the rear was Dead Eye Steve. After loosing an eye to a grenade, his one remaining eye with a sniper rifle was unstoppable. He had also lost his leg, meaning that he wasn't good at attacking. But this was an easy job, a simple, wooden shack with two long dead bodies. But nothing is ever so simple... The picturesPicture OnePicture TwoPicture TroisPicture VierI like the character's I've made for this, but I wish i could have found a better board. I prefer Nuclear Winter idea's myself. But ah well, hope you like this quick construction!

Jolly good, Sir Norman Ray. Very impressive. Could we see some more pics of the figs themselves, etc? The BrickShelf folder is not yet public. By the way, what's up with the shed? You make it sound like it has a trapdoor or a monster inside, but I can't see anything. EDIT: And I think the board was a very nice choice.

Ok, I will take some more pics of the guys when I can. As for the shack, I don't know. I was just writing and randomness flows. I was actually struggling to finish that story, sorry.

I was actually struggling to finish that story, sorry. I think the story is just fine. Sounds very nice and the ending would be perfect if the shed did something as well. You could put a BA Boom Box or a BA Masher Grenade kit sitting in the corner of the shed (if you have one of these) with a little string going across the door at ankle level and running back to the box, like a booby trap. Just a suggestion, and not a very good one :)

Crud, you had to suggest that. I've already torn the shed apart. And I don't have those boxes, just the old treasure chests that TLC did with Pirates. But thanks though, I'll see what I can do

And by the way, to anyone reading this, the boom box is a better deal. Only 20 cents per grenade as opposed to 25 cents per grenade if you just buy the pack of four. EDIT: And the folder still isn't public. Could you deeplink them, please?

How do you make these things public?

Wow! A silver MP5 and a silver PSG1?! I've always wanted one of those! Anywho, now that I can see it in more detail, I like it even more. Very well done.

Thanks! It's not actually a silver MP5, just a gray one, but I still love it. It's a nice, compact weapon, superb for long trips.

Neat minifigs and backstory! Randomness wrote:By the way, I like the use of Rob and Big! :) I noticed that, as well. I loved that show, 'tis a shame it's over now. :(

Thanks! What on Earth is Rob and Big? I was just thinking of names. It might be a show that never crossed to England you see, or I'm too old or what ever. I just thought "I need a name that isn't Tom, Norman or James." and "How do you describe a guy who walks around with a pump action and two revolvers?"

There's a TV show named Rob & Big.

Ah, I never get a chance to see MTV, other people hog the Sky Digital. But I do try to limit the amount of media influence I put in.
