I certainly wouldn't mind an ammo box. That would be neat. However, I also wouldn't mind seeing one of these ;-)

Woah! Please don't take it that way. I certainly didn't mean to raise any false hopes. I'm as much in the dark about the prototypes as the next guy, but I was just saying that it would be cool if the MGL was one of the prototypes.

Again, all I meant was that it would be cool if the mysterious prototypes were grenade launchers.

EDIT: Now I understand badger's wise words in the medic supplies thread about not wild guessing for anything.

Very sorry, badger. I won't do it again.

Careful. Whether serious or in jest, ribbing like this -will- get you into trouble here. And immature is spelled with two 'm's.

I think the prototypes Will is bringing to the Con are going to knock your socks off, guys. Seriously. Anyone who -can- make it absolutely should make the trip. Anyone who can't can look forward to lots of pictures, from Con attendees, Will himself, and the BrickArms staff - since we'll already have ours and will be able to post pictures of them once they're 'public.'

Wow! Even Damien says they're cool. They must be great!

Are the prototypes the secret item that was mentioned in the Medic Supplies thread, Damien? The ones that you said were cool?

That's what I was going to say! ;)

I hope to see these live at the convention in August, as always, pictures don't do any of these items justice when you see them in person.

No, I didn't take it like that! I just meant "Wow, is that really a grenade launcher?" Not that the prototypes are MGL's! :)

I just want to point something out here. While it was confirmed quite awhile ago that Will designed an MGL, which is seen in early prototype form in the BrickArms Minifigs group shot -- Will has NOT confirmed that the MGL will come with him to any convention at any time, nor has he confirmed whether or not it will ever see the light of day again.

Everyone keep that in mind before getting your hopes up.

That is yet to be disclosed.

Generally speaking, it's quite likely that they will be, since BrickWorld and BrickFair occur less than two months apart. BrickFair may even have MORE prototypes than what we'll see at BrickWorld. Who knows. You'll know soon enough.

Quote:
and Will, will you go to next years BrickWorld

This is not really the time to be asking about next year. But I can guarantee that Will is going to make every effort to be at next year's BrickWorld. He loves going. He loves interacting with all the Brick-fans. No way he'll miss it unless he has no choice.

Quote:
They must be great!

They are. And the best part is, even I'm not sure -which- prototypes will make it to BrickWorld. Will has quite a few irons in the fire, so to speak. At this point I probably have about half-a-dozen prototypes on my desk here that none of you know about. Any or all of them could show up. Keep your eyes peeled, because it's gonna be exciting.

See above. There are many prototypes. And I think they're all cool. The 'secret item' is -almost- guaranteed to be there, yes. But I can't say with absolute certainty at this time.

Just to add to Damien's bud nipping, the new convention items will not include the MGL. However, there will be several new, never-before-seen items, a few of which are going to be very surprising.

Badger, you really have a way with words, don't you? Just when I finally(sort of....) calmed down about all the new prototypes that Will is going to be displaying, you come back with this. Somehow, I've just become even more worked up about all the new goodies! It really is quite exciting...
