Because there just aren't enough apoc vigs :-) . . . This takes place at the time of I am Legend. Cousins Leo Jamal and Martin Naikinsky are, as far as they know, the only two humans on earth. However, one day they heard the daily broadcast of Robert Neville, and resolved to go to him. However, they are in Toronto, Canada. With winter setting in, they must make the journey immediately, or risk being trapped in zombie-infested Toronto through the dark winter. If that happens, they know they won't survive . . . As the virus consumed the population of Toronto, a citywide panic broke out. Gangs formed and began to battle and kill each other for a loaf of bread. For a while, the government valiantly attempted to restore order, but as the death toll from virus and war soared into the hundreds of thousands, they gave up. The government sent its finest into the thick of the fighting, attempting to restore peace and order. This valiant effort did not make much of a difference. Most of the people in the city now believed that the government was attempting to keep them in the city, and they fought like mad to escape. People fled the city for the woods. Eventually, Leo and Martin were the only two remaining humans in the city. They had hidden in a concrete basement during the fiercest fighting. They emerged to find a world unlike the one they remembered. People affected by the virus were now zombie-like creatures, hunting and killing the few remaining humans. Soon learning how to avoid or kill these creatures, Leo and Martin realize that there is something else in the city . . . and it's hunting them. Here they are, Leo on the left and Martin on the right. Here is the men's rough home, in the basement of an abandoned apartment. There is only one bed, as one man must stand watch at all times. The men plot their next move after hearing the broadcast.Having heard a noise, Leo rushes to a hole to look outside, rifle at the ready. He has plenty to worry about, too . . . Some thing is watching their every move . . . clinging silently to rooftops and walls to observe their progress . . . It has been watching them for days . . . waiting for the right moment . . . And they know it, too. They know that unless they find and kill their silent stalker, they will never leave the city alive. Hope that you all like it! If you think there is anything I can improve on, let me know. Cheers! Comments and constructive criticism are welcome!

Yeah, I've been working on Market Street for the last couple days, adding and subtracting features until I felt it looked significantly "destroyed." Did you notice some of the inverted 2x2 smooth tiles? I thought they gave the sidewalk a "rough" look. EDIT: Any guesses as to what's stalking them?

Although I don't think the Negative Effect looks like it is infared. One thing to improve on is, well, I can't think of something for you to improve on. Ballistic Eagles wrote:Although I don't think the Negative Effect looks like it is infared. Nope. It doesn't. However, I liked the way it looked, so I pretend it's the vision of some creature. You know, in sci-fi, there's usually the "grunt" bad guys and the "king" bad guys, like the aliens and the alien queen in the movie alien. What's stalking them is the "king" of the remaining mutants, for lack of a better term.
