Based during the Battle of Buna-Gona, I drew inspiration from this photograph taken during the battle.

Excellent! Again perfect posing and choice of body parts (brilliant idea with the Batman head), also I really love how it's historically correct!

Nice. I like it.

What's going on the photo? Is the tribesman taking the blindfolded guy to a medic?

Anyway, 5/5!

Thanks! I tried to be as historically accurate as I could.

Thanks! The tribesman is helping a wounded Australian soldier, who appears to have sustained a head-wound, over to a U.S. medic.

Ahh . . . thanks, obx.

I like this vig alot. Simplistic, but tells its own little story.

By the way, the picture you based it off of is great.

Thanks again.

It is a great photo, I'd been wanting to do a vignette based on it for quite a while now.

Great vig! I am a huge fan of your work obxcrew. Good use of the Batman head. For the guy with out the walking stick you should have turned that torso around. Good use of the mono pod.

I like it the way it is, I think it looks like some sort of tribal-wear.

Nope, he's American.

Great job obx! Nice use of the BrickArms monopod! Just one suggestion though. I was wondering if this toso for the wounded Australian soldier would give a better look for the vig.

Thanks! And great idea, I probably would have, but I don't have that torso. :( I still need to buy the largest Indy set.

I noticed BrickLink doesn't have any vendors selling that torso, yet. I have one, because I purchased all of the Indy sets. The pieces in that set (7623) really come in handy. There are lots of pieces I never had before. Especially torsos.

Very creative idea, obxcrew. I actually never even realized that local tribesmen assisted the Allies during WW2. But now, that I think about it, it does make sense. Considering the fact that a very large portion of the war was fought on or around the Pacific islands. I wonder if any of the local tribes helped the Japanese during the war. Sorry, a bit off topic. Nice job obxcrew.

Thanks!

I doubt that anyone would have helped the Japanese, what with the way that they usually treated locals. . . .

I agree . . .

Anyway, I really like this vig, obxcrew. There isn't really any action, but it has . . . meaning somehow. Sorry, that was weird . . .

Thanks again! I intended it to convey a bit of emotion.

Nope, it's from Robin in the Batman sets.
