This was a very common grenade and is still in use, I think. It would be good for WWII and Modern soldiers. Here is a picture. My Flickr My Brickshelf

Very good idea. I grew up watching WWII movies and M*A*S*H and anytime I see or hear the word "grenade" that is what I think of. Even more so after cleaning out my wife's late grandfather's basement after he died and finding one (disarmed we hoped) in a cupboard. It was fun arranging for the local Navy base bomb disposal team to come and get it.

I'm almost sure that theres a thread for this, but could not find it. As such, I shall comment: I would love to see a Pineapple Grenade. And I also don't think that the "pockets" would ubstruct the minifig's hold. Heh, pretty strange story you have there, Ted. We actually found a Pineapple Grenade with the explosives taken out at the thrift-store. Man, that thing is heavy! (and cool, might I add) EDIT: A picture for quick viewing: "How am I going to stop some mean Mother Hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer... is a gun. Yes, definitely the better grenade. I would love to see a BrickArms* version. [MOD - LEGO has nothing to do with these accessories. Will Chapman is the one who designs and produces them. If it's a high quality, detailed minifig compatible firing weapon, chances are it's from BrickArms! - badger]
EDIT: I meant to say Lego compatible. Sorry
<'Enough' can now be viewed there. You may need to click the English flag at the top of the page. Happy readings. MOCpages, FlickR Have a good look around. You never know what you'll find.... could be... even... you!

Indeed an excellent tool but how, may I ask would the minifig hold it? I suppose the same way as the baseball grenade (M67)?

Maybe by around the part where the square bumps are, like the grenade fits into the figure's hand?

So, I would guess the minifig would hold it by the cannaster, like the Flash-Bang. Also like I stated above, I don't think the pockets would ruin the minifigures' hold. Niether do I but would it be hard to mold that small and still get the detail Will is famous for?

A minifig could hould it kind of like the flash light on the BM-5. Here is the BA-M5 a minifig can hold it and it has pockets (kind of) if there were lines going up, down, and across it would work. This one could prove very difficult. I could achieve the pineapple profile, but the segmentation in the body would not work out so well. My cutter bits are just too large - even at a tiny 1/32" - to give the kind of detail required.

Good Idea!
Some of you might be wondering why I have't been posting pics. The reason why is because I lost my camra, which is a big bummer.

The Lee Enfield was the only bolt action rifle NOT to be replaced by a semi automatic rifle as its rate of fire was deemed high enough. Truely, us British do things the hard way.

Slighty Reviving this thread, I fully support the Mk2 being made as I have a shell of one. I love to hang it on my shirt in Airsoft fights! Here it is[MOD - Picture changed to a link since it exceeded the 400 x 400 pixel limit. - badger]
