I thought it would be neat to make a 'Mad' Max Rockantansky minifigure. The 1979 movie filmed in a post-apocalyptic Australia. Mel Gibson's first (big) full length movie. I wasn't sure about weapons besides his gas powered sawed off shotgun. He could have black legs; and his torso and head I'm not sure about. IMDBWikipediaMad Max Trailer

Actually, the moment I saw this torso, I knew a "Mad" Max fig would be in my near future: However, in terms of an official BA fig, Max really does need his trusty, distinctive sawed-off, double barreled shotgun, and Will is not currently in the process of designing such an item. badger

I remember seeing that torso for Indiana Jones's sidekick Mutt. If you could find a way to remove "utt" from "Mutt" and add "ax" you could have "Max"! Or just take off "Mutt" altogether.

While I have never seen/read any thing having to do with Mad Max, I know who he is, which I think shows he is very well known. I think he would be a great addition to the BrickArms lineup, especially if that meant a double barreled shotgun. I say yay!

He could use the magnum (search for pistol). Though the shotgun is much more culturally significant.
Remember kids, bley and dark grey can look good together so long as you don't mix them up randomly.

I've never seen the films, and I can't say that I'm for the fig. I am however, definitely in favor of a BA sawed-off.

Yeah, I could care less about the fig, but I would love to see a sawed off shotgun! Sorry if I am being rude.:-) A Company 5th Platoon 6th Squad"Angels of Vengance"

While a Mad Max fig would be interesting, I can't say that I'd buy one. However, if it came with one of those cool double-barreled shotguns linked to earlier in this thread, I'd buy him in a heartbeat! Cheers!

Good *Gosh! For those of you who haven't seen any Mad Max movies, please do! It's probably the only movie I will watch that has Mel Gibson in it. That and Maverick. I support the idea of this minifig 99%.....-1% because of Mel Gibson. Rofl!
