I would have to disagree. The RPG head Will makes is much smaller than the Davy Crockett, if narrowed down. The warhead in the picture shows that the device is much bigger then the head of the person. The only resemblance I see to bear is that both warheads share the same bulky warhead shape.

I think this is an example of taking BrickArms to far. When you can easily and accurately make something out of bricks, there is no need for Will to make it. Thats just trying to turn BrickArms into a clone brand, or even just an action figure line.

Well said - I agree 100%.

Yeah, thats kind of it. I wasn't really thinking about size. If anything, a Davy Crockett will still take up a lot of plastic for the warhead, and the large recoilless rifle.

I would be all for a briefcase nuke for terrorists. Will could just make a small detailed piece that could be placed inside a TLC briefcase, then sell them with the briefcase, or just separately.

I think you could make a suitcase nuke by putting a 2x1 tile with a control pattern on it into a suitcase. I don't think it is at all necessary.

I'm beginning to think, "Is a Lego Atomic Bomb a bit controversial?"

Thoughts?

Anyway, if anything the Davy Crockett would be an easy creation out of TLC parts.

Nuclear weaponry is apolitical as it's practically ubiquitous in regards to the number of nations that feature nuclear weapons as part of their defense strategies.

I'm pretty sure that a 2 x 1 tile doesn't fit in a TLC briefcase. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm pretty sure that a 2 x 1 tile doesn't fit in a TLC briefcase, in fact, I'm nearly positive. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Even if it doesn't why don't you just use the plain old suitcase, or just put a 1x1 tile in. I don't think it is necessary.

I'll have to test the 1 x 2 tile inside the briefcase idea, but will the briefcase close? And Lego doesn't make many detailed 1 x 1 tiles even if it would fit. Personally, I still stand for a suitcase nuke, but if the 1 x 2 fits, I'll just make my own.

There are plenty of folks out there that would say arming LEGO minifigs with semi-realistic weaponry is a bit controversial. But that's neither here nor there. As Badg pointed out, a regular atomic warhead is just another piece of weaponry at the disposal of many militaries. Its function is as neutral as any weapon.

That, in my opinion, is not something that can be said for briefcase bombs. However, I'll remind everyone that this thread is about an atomic bomb, NOT suitcase bombs/nukes. Keep discussion focused on the item at hand, please.

Well it would take alot of time and plastic, but maybe a suitcase nuke. It could just be a lego suitcase with a custom nuclear decal on it

Yes, I see.

How about having the nuke in a generic mortar shell shape, and have it so small that it fits in a suitcase. Then Will could sell those, or could even apply this decal onto it? The suitcase nuke could be molded in black, and could maybe even go for a generic mortar shell.

Now you're on to something,Yet again you could always just make a birck built Nuke and put a sticker on it. But if we coulld use the RPG shell and mod it and maybe put a decal here and there then you'd have a A-bomb

I beg to differ. The Nuke would have to look like a mini torpedo, without the propellar. You see, the RPG warhead is more bulky and long, whereas the suitcase nuke is more roundish and torpedo-like. See; compare the two: RPG Suitcase Nuke

Ahh now I see. But I think what will used as the RPG warhead would work fine for this, they look alike, though RPG is a little more elongated, and not as torepedo like, you've a dressed a good issue though i think this needs further discussion.

if you ask me, a nuke

could be made with these pieces

but if you are going to make a suitcase bomb, I recomend it coming with a 1x1 flat tile that represents a remote

this piece would be included with a small bomb in a lego suitcase. The bomb would be about the size of the rpg front.
