Im not too sure about this myself, Will hasn't made too many other nationality figs. He could venture into Vietnam for new figs, but I don't see it happening too soon. That's just my 2 cents.

That's completely true. Maybe Will is going to decide to make this. I don't know. That's just my two cents.

It's actually being discussed here. Wait, that's an American soldier. So I guess there's no thread for the Vietcong.

Actually, further on in the thread, we also discussed VC guerillas and officers, going as far as exploring the cost-effectiveness of Oxford straw hats :) So that thread has got everything covered!

I was wondering about that. So they should rename that thread to, "Vietnam Minifigs"

Would this be in NVA Uniforms or Post-Vietnam VPA (Vietnam People's Army) Uniforms.

I believe that a potential Viet Cong fig should have the NVA uniforms, as people tend to associate Vietnam with the war. Really, it'd be madness* to try to do minifigs with modern uniforms of all the world's armed forces! *read: labour-intensive and unwieldy

MOD - A VC Soldier can be discussed in the aforementioned thread.

MOD - I've reopened this thread due to the fact the other thread should have been solely focused on Vietnam-era US soldiers rather than all Vietnam War related figures. I think a separate thread for NVA and Vietcong is warranted to keep the conversation focused.

They could have an M4 (to simulate an M16) that was captured from a soldier or the Soviet made AK-47 as they were the weapon of choice for the NVA.

The VC could have a AK 47, M4 (simulating a captured M16), RPG, and maybe a few grenades.
A M1919A6 30 Caliber Machine Gun firing 400-600 rounds a minute, with a bipod, carrying handle, stock, and 100 rounds of 30-06 in a belt! Wait did I lose you?
