I'm sure you all remember Nannan's excellent Halo Warthog vignette he submitted in the BrickArms Halo Vignette contest. Did you also know that Xbox magazine featured it in a 2-page spread in the May 2008 issue? Wow! He even gave BrickArms a nice shout out, and featured the BrickArms BA-M5, and BA-M6 in the hands of the Master Chief and The Flood. (Click the thumbnail for a full-sized shot with readable text)

I saw this one on Nannan's flickr page. A lot of Halo and LEGO fans now probably want the BA-M5 & 6.

That's awesome! I wonder how the publisher of that article (Scott Butterworth) found out about his creation? Thats really cool.

Wow! That is amazing! I would never think Xbox would feature LEGO! Great work Nanann, and Will of course! :)

Well, no more "Ad on the side of a bus" type thing, people are going to have this magazine for years!
Hey, looking for a cool place to make lots of friends and have loads of fun? Why not try Jango Jordan's forum, Brick Cave?

That's great! The coolest part is, just about anyone in the U.S. can pick this magazine up from Walmart or Seven-Eleven and see BrickArms in it!
"People are dying, Alfred. What would you have me do?" "Endure, Master Wayne. Take it. They'll hate you for it, but that's the point of Batman, he can be the outcast. He can make the choice that no one else can make, the right choice."

How much publicity can Brickarms get? What'll Brickarms be featured in next?

"So obviously you won this contest you entered this project into."
"Ummm . . . .not so much"
"What?! What sort of brain-dead mutants were judging!?"
"He calls himself badger"
But seriously, this fantastic MOC deserves every bit of press it's gotten, and it will always have a very special place in BrickArms.

"He calls himself badger" Hah, if that were true, you'd get public disgrace and would have to wear a paper bag over your face. Just joking.

Thanks for the post Will, it was great opportunity that gave the lego community more publicity. I couldn't be more happy that I decided to enter the Halo contest here or none of this could've ever happened. I'm glad many enjoyed the article. -Nannan

Crazy he got into a magazine. I look up to him. I can't believe a lego vig could get in! IT IS POSSIBLE!
