Just finished this- it's a New Britain soldier. He's supposed to be in a sort of "Charge!" pose (hence the thread title) but I don't think that aspect of it came out very well. I'm also not too satisfied with the legs, but ah well... Anyway, here it is: He's wielding an M41A, official issue rifle of New Britain. Comments and constructive criticism appreciated! :)

Wow, you're a very good drawer! Also, I think that is a charge pose. Great job!

Oh, man...now my sketch pales in comparison to your CorelDraw masterpiece! I'm more than impressed with the posing, the gradient fill of the various parts for the lighting effect, but most importantly, the M41A - the proportions are perfect. I think I have an opportunity to share with you, Shadow Viking!

If it makes you feel any better, one of my "real" drawings of minifigs would pale in comparison to pretty much anything. ;D GreenLead wrote:I'm more than impressed with the posing, the gradient fill of the various parts for the lighting effect, but most importantly, the M41A - the proportions are perfect. Thank you! I gotta admit, I'm pretty proud of how the M41A turned out. ^_^

Hunter =) I was channeling a bit of Mike Rayhawk and Greg Hyland for just that reason, thanks! :)

That is amazing! I think it is an excellent charge pose. I like how the soldier is running over a brick.
The pen is mightier than the sword, they say... but they didn't count on the machine gun! I'm looking to make a Halo shotgun and sniper rifle. If you have any suggestions, could you PM them to me? Thanks. Look behind you.... You're about to be dead.

Sorry to reply to this so late guys, I hadn't noticed the replies here. ;_; Sgt. Evans wrote:That is amazing! I think it is an excellent charge pose. I like how the soldier is running over a brick. The brick was also a bit Mike Rayhawk influenced, he often has a red 2x2 brick in his art. Anyway, thank you! Mandalorian wrote:Cool! I like the Xeno. The moustache is cute. Thanks, but... moustache? He doesn't have a moustache, just sunglasses and a mouth. :P
