A word on the new BrickArms Forums Ranks:
Instead of just "member" or "advanced member", I've begun adding new ranks.
0 posts = Private 10 posts = Member 30 posts = Advanced Member 200 posts = Specialist 500 posts = Elite Commando 1,000,000 posts = Über General
Have fun, and please make sure your posts contain something interesting. Don't post "cool MOC", just to get your ranking boosted. The Moderators and I sweep the forums and we will occasionally remove these "empty" posts. ;)

Cool new ranks....but does that mean everybody starts at a private now? Or no? A soldier should not be commemorated for doing what is expected-Master ChiefBungie.net Account Profile

Since my rank is A Company Commander, I guess I won't change.

Correct. If Will sees fit to give someone a special ranking - then your ranking won't change with your post count. For instance, Moderators will always be Moderators, A Company Commander will remain A Company Commander, and anything else Will might come up with as special titles for certain members.

Cool! I was hoping that my rank as A Company Commander would stay the same.

1 million posts! That will take a long, long time for anybody to post that many times. (or right after mold 3 comes out)

Hi. Cool new ranks, but it seems a bit impossible to become an über general, doesn't it? My Flickr

I love the new ranks! It adds some pizzazz. I wonder if any of us will still be alive at the time someone becomes an Uber General. ;]

If anyone becomes an Uber General, I bet it would be badger. Personally I'm still shooting for "Specialist." (Of what? Only time will tell...)

psykikskwirrel wrote:If anyone becomes an Uber General, I bet it would be badger. Well, if I keep at my current posting rate, I'll probably average about 2,000 posts a year. This means I'll reach uber general in a mere 500 years! . . . . I think I'll stick with being Official Spokesman and leave the leadership up to Will ;) badger

Badger, too bad the mods don't get like a half-post on their post count for the ones they've edited, since you and all of the other mods would all have a significantly higher amount of posts if it did count them.

Hmm, I don't think we will ever reach uber general. Lol, we'll see though.
[MOD - Please take the time to write clearly. I've had to edit a few of you posts now to correct errors. Slow down and write properly. Thanks - badger]

Cool, I guess. Number of posts doesn't me much too much to me, just the quality. But if you like that kind of stuff, then. . .
