Yeah that's what I do (and am hoping to do here if the price is reasonable).

Apparently you can find software out there that will automatically bid for you 4 seconds before the bidding ends to make sure you get the last bid. (No, I have no idea where to find it and I don't wanna know.)

This is actually quite scary. Just thinking that somebody is ready to buy lego minifig with maybe 100$. It just gives me creeps. For me even the 10$ is too much for a minifig.

Custom, rare, and limited edition toys of all kinds tend to fetch a very hefty price on eBay. This isn't surprising at all. If the quality is there, buyers will want to own it. It's collector-driven, so it's definitely out of the financial means of most younger LEGO fans.
But congratulations to Will are certainly in order. No custom piece, however limited, gets a price like that without being very impressive.

It seems that the person that has the highest bid right now is very, very, nervous. (he/she keeps rising the price)

Ouch, I feel sorry for that guy who was in the lead. *whistles* If this guy wants to get the medic back, he needs to bid a hefty price.

wow... just... wow... Collectors are real chickenheads... (reference to do androids dream of electric sheep for those of you that don't know). Thats some big money you got coming in there Will. I would never pay that price for a lego figure (mainly because i don't have the money, but also because i don't think a lego Figure is worth that much). You might get more for this Fig than you did for all of the other Medics combined.

Well, a figure is worth what the market will bear, and apparently, it's willing to bear quite alot!
Would I be willing to spend that much on a custom minifig? Certainly not, but if someone has the available funds to put towards a purchase of that size, that's their choice to do so.

O.K., I was going to say that the bidder was me and then make some joke, but when I saw over $150 the only thing that went through my mind was " Everyone knows I cant pay that much" Good luck Will!

Hopefully, this exceeds $200+ (I'm not saying this as a bad thing) so that Will can get enough money to help pay for Mold 3.
