Well I love the undead so much, I had to make one of these awesome works of art. When I can get my camera working i'll post a picture. [MOD - You've already been warned once about capitalization. Wow, that fig is great, Will! Very nice job. Too bad it's a one time thing.

I love it! Anyone played Return to Castle Wolfenstein? Long story short, your a commando who fights undead Germans, and that undead solider looks like a perfect portrail of the undead in the game.

I love it more than the regular german soldier (no offense). I would buy 20 of them If i could, even if I didn't have the spare money.

That reminds me a lot of this. Great work Will! Where are the new skeletons from?

obxcrew wrote:Hmm, sounds like something Hitler would do (if he could). Still, Stalin would have had no qualms with making an undead army of his own! I could see the Japanese doing this too. Btw, Will I just want to chime in and say its a real pitty its impossible to mass-produce these. This is probably the most brilliant thing you've come up with since Brick Arms itself. Just one question though: how did you chew up the torso? The cuts look so clean. It would take forever to get through with a simple exacto blade and a wire-cutter's blades would leave angled edges on the cuts. What did you use? You know what you should do is post this guy to the classic space forums because anything scifi is fair game there. This is a good idea worth spreading. Heck you should do an undead soldier contest!

Soldier: "General, the enemy troops appear to be advancing!"
General (Sleepily): "What the heck?! It's the middle of the night!!"
Soldier: "Yes sir."
General: "Oh, I'll come and have a look!"
(Five minutes later)
General (Looking through binoculars): "What the-?! They're---Monsters!!! Aaaaarrrghh!!
Will, you've really outdone yourself this time! Great work!

My hunch is that he used his CNC mill, seeing how clean the cuts turned out.

Nice, I only just seen this. Though, according to the Zombie Survival Guidebook, Allied troops would be in an ideal position to take them on. Having bolt action rifles/semi automatic rifles means accurate, headshots without the risk of rock and roll fire. That's Max Brook's view though, but I do love this so much. Why is it Zombies and Germans go hand in hand?
The Lee Enfield was the only bolt action rifle NOT to be replaced by a semi automatic rifle as its rate of fire was deemed high enough. Truely, us British do things the hard way.

That certainly supports the matter, but aside from unethical research, the Third Reich also had some fairly deep ties to the occult. As the article indicates, those aspects of the movement have proved to be fertile ground for exploitation in popular culture. badger

Ok, now I have plans to make an alternate WW2 where the Germans were successful in creating zombies and used them, and the Allies (Mainly the British and Soviets) formed Occult units, soldiers trained in not only the art of warfare, but in dealing with the Occult. I've even thought of my first character, Major Patrick "God Botherer" Brown, British 1st Occult Battalion former Anglican Priest. By God, work allows me to think of these ideas so nicely.
