Wiki page if interestedPictureYou could possibly make a face decal that shows part of the machine on his head and even chest. For armament, a shotgun and an AK as seen in T1 when he attacks the Police Station.

haha.. That's actually my current MOC project. Based on castle skeleton and try to create a not-so-fat minifigs size's muscle man... and I use the space minifig machine head with normal face of "tattoo sticker" apply right on the head. The head looks good specially if I scratch some tattoo off and show it's machine head.
Anyway, everything is still under development and none would show to anybody.

Hmm, interesting idea. A "Cyberdyne Cyborg" minifig might be fun, especially given the the widespread recognition of the character. Bob Fredric wrote:You could possibly make a face decal that shows part of the machine on his head and even chest. Interestingly enough, there were some leaked pics of an upcoming TLC line called Agents that featured something very similar, but in terms of capturing the essence of the Terminator, but no doubt our resident decal designers could produce something much more accurate. *Usual disclaimer Will isn't working on thing discussed above* badger

I've only seen a scene from the terminator series, but Swartzeneger had a G36 when he was fighting the female cyborg, in the scene I saw.

I tried making the Terminator once.. The best weapons of choice for him would either be a Desert Eagle (which doesnt exist in BrickArms) or a shotgun.. Or a M4, or a mini gun... wait, what weapons doesn't he use? You could pretty much arm the Terminator with anything, but the most accurate weapon in BrickArms would probably be the shotgun. jhawker95 wrote:I've only seen a scene from the terminator series, but Swartzeneger had a G36 when he was fighting the female cyborg, in the scene I saw. You must have seen a scene from T-3. Or possibly a scene from the new tv series which I'm still unsure whether I like or not.

This is a great idea, I have always been wondering who I should use my shotguns on. I am going to build one tomorrow.
Thanks for the idea.

Well yeah, it depends what movie you see him with different weapons in.

One issue I'd like to point out is the lack of chrome-coloured minifig parts. While grey parts and decals could produce a "passable" Terminator, I'm not too sure myself. And before anyone mentions it, I don't think Will should be spray-painting hundreds of minifig parts with chrome paint!

I think this is a good idea because the terminator lives by my motto of shoot first ask later, but, I think we would need to make some definite weapons decisions, not just say he could use any weapon. I personally think maybe an M4 and a shotgun.

I think that a Terminator would make a great addition to the BrickArms minifig line. I'm making a Terminator vig right now, and its turning into quite a big project.

I agree with AFOLforever Will should consider making a Terminator. The one from T2 is probably the most classic. For a body I would use a leather jacket or suit. A good weapon would be the shot gun. In T2 for most of the movie he has a shotgun and a M1911. Here is a mock-up picture, and another one picture, last one on bike. He could use the Batman Nightwing motorcycle. My Flickr My Brickshelf

If a terminator fig is made i think it should also come with an MK-48 that way you could recreat the police station scene from T-1.

I love the idea of a Terminator minifig. I think a grey fig would be fine, partially because I don't think he would look as good using the limited TLC chrome pieces and the tendency of TLC chrome to scratch off.

Personally, I think Light-Bley minifig parts would be the best option. For some reason I always see the Light-Bley as a somewhat subdued metal finish. Another alternative would be to use a mixture of pieces to show the exo-skeleton beneth the flesh. So you could use a light-bley(grey) arm on a normal clothes wearing torso. You could even add a light-bley(grey) head or decal parts of the head/arms/torso to show bits of the exo-skeleton. Then you wouldn't really need to worry about what colour parts to use. Just a thought. MMCB MMCB Custom Minifig Cloth Accessoriesmmcblego@gmail.comMMCB Custom Minifig Cloth AccessoriesMMCB Custom Minifigs Gallery
