Post your photos, or tell us of your techniques, or brainstorm on how you could turn a BrickArms gun into something else. Maybe an M4 into a BrickArms HK416? Or, perhaps an MP40 into a Grease Gun? No ideas are too outrageous!

BrickArms are made of top-grade ABS plastic - the same plastic that Lego uses for the majority of their bricks - and it's an easy plastic to work with. You can cut it, grind it, melt it, saw it, and polish it, and glue it, without much trouble.

All you need is inspiration, a sharp X-Acto hobby knife, and some glue. In some of my mods, I don't even use glue! I pin the parts together (something Damien inspired me to learn), for the ultimate in customizability.

So, what have you done to your BrickArms?

I took a MP-40 that I found with the barrel broken off, so I clipped off the magazine and made a pistol for a rebel officer(Star Wars).

I might make it home from this lousy war- [explodes]

I added the 203 to the M4 like you showed on your mods. They look soooo good. After I cut the piece, the color at the tip of the 203 was a little off. I used a black sharpie to touch it up. I hope that will help some people.

Fink, I noticed that discoloration as well. It is a result of stress on the ABS plastic during cutting. I fix it by scratching it with my fingernail, and it disappears quickly. I do the same thing with my minifig hair pieces, to remove the discoloration where the parts come off the sprues at the factory.

The X-Acto knife runs about a buck at any hobby store.
