the molding looks a little messy.

How so? Besides the bit of flash on the grip, it's got lines as clean as any other BA item. Of course, you're also looking at it right now at a MUCH larger size than the actual item, so any flaws might be more visible here. Not sure what those flaws would be though. Looks fine to me.

Bob, you can easily hold a Derringer in the palm of your hand. I own a Derringer pop-gun that (I think) is actual size.

Sounds about right. Derringers are tiny in real life. The BrickArms version is obviously a bit bigger (by comparison to the minifig) simply to make it work, because of how small a true-sized Derringer would be.

That's just great. The tiny size but great capture of detail make it a truly excellent BA accesory. Great work, Will!

I always thought the other pistols didn't fit the western "gambler" torso, but this one is perfect. I'll be sure to get one when I can.

It's all rigged!

That's my fault; the prototype I used to take the picture was in silver "Bionicle" plastic which does not capture detailing well at all. In crisp ABS in a color that makes detail pop (silver or bley), you can see all detailing in the design.

Here's a much, much better image of the real-life prototype in silver ABS plastic:

For a tiny item, Will's packed a ton of detail into it!

How well does it fit into a TLC briefcase and can some cash fit in as well? ;)

I'm not sure, but is this about the height of a flashbang, or smaller?

Actually, I think it's a little bit taller. (Emphases on LITTLE)

Hmmmm, I sense that as soon as you get your hands on one of these you will...... make a western ivg, with a guy holding a suitcase with the gun and tons of money in it! By the way... Badger on that pic you can see how much detail he pack in it! I didn;t see that from the first few pictures, thanks for the close-up!

I love the detail in it. They would be a good choice for V.I.P. minifigs to carry.

This is awesome. I can already think of about 10 westerns I would make scenes from with this. Too cool.
