Durring a Mars expedition, a Commander trudges through the strange, almost glowing red Martian soil, while a Cadet collects a sample of a Martian "plant".

I like the picture, but the idea could be improved upon.

You really should've credited Harrison.

But, this was not inspired by Corran. Actually, if anyone should get credit, it would be Austin_S. He's the one who reminded me that I had those dark-red pieces :)

I find that hard to believe. Your vignette is quite obviously inspired by Harrison's; from the jagged red base and the transparent plants (one type of which is indentical to the type that Harrison used,) to the same basic concept of astronauts clad in white a landing on another planet, they're remarkably similar. Which is perfectly fine, as long as credit is given where it is due.

Of course, the resemblance COULD be coincidental, but it would be quite an amazing occurence. :|

Oh, and the base of the vignette that Austin built is dark orange, not dark red.

I'm sorry, guys, I didn't mean to start an argument. :(

At any rate, let's just concentrate on discussing the MOC at hand.

Swell idea! I'm thinking of making another Martian Landing vig (I need to think of a more original name...) soon. Any ideas?

I really do love the plants as well Kingbrick! They kind of remind me of Jellyfish on some under sea pla-wait, did you use the LEGO Spongebob Jellyfish for the plants?

The Only thing I can say is... Oooohhh, Pretty! :P Very good job, and very shiny... (My mind is very small and cannot comprehend big words such as "Comprehend"... And "The") And I think he meant you should name it Foreign World.

Sorry, you had asked for a better name for another vignette that was more original, so I suggested Foreign World for your name, once again, sorry for any confusion :(

This looks really good! I'm not much of a fan of space stuff, but this looks great. Good job!
