Brilliant! The setting certainly lends itself to imagination, what with the nuclear warhead, the mad scientist, and the . . . er . . . man in a Speedo. What's he doing there? ;) Very well done! How do you get such good pictures? I can never get my lighting to work just right.

I wanted this to have a silly sort of "stereotypical evil supervillian" feel, so don't take this scene too seriously. The fellow in the odd attire is some sort of indentured servant and henchman. I just thought that the parts combination looked goofy, so I went with it. :)
As for the photography, I use a large piece of glossy paper (very large; my father acquired it for me, as he works at a print shop), and shoot the photos without any lights on and without a flash from the camera, using a tripod for stability. I find that turning on lights makes the photos look rather yellow. I then adjust the exposure of the picture until I achieve the desired brightness. Hope this helps.

That's fine, but perhaps you're not grasping the satire of the MOC. It depicts a stereotypical evil villian standing with his diabolical bomb that he's planning to unleash terror with, and is a parody of many repetitive mediums.
Further, the Class 2 category has a limit of fifty pieces, including the evil genius as one piece. This limits the level of storytelling that the MOC can convey.

Gorgeous, obx! I must admit that the henchman intrigues me more than the Dr.! There is something about him/it needing to wear a gas mask, and yet the rest of his/its body being entirely exposed - and scarred as well. Spooky!
The caricatured bomb is quite nice. I've not seen its equal in brick. I hope you'll bring it to BrickFair? it would make a great MOC entry, and I'd love to see it in person.

The bomb was mostly built for the contest, rather than as a lasting piece, and therefore I took it apart after photographing it. It's not really my best work, though, seeing as the mechanics of the thing being able to launch from it's stand are quite dubious.
