Perhaps it's better to not know a deadline then to know one, that way it keeps our bodies from streaming bodily fluids in anticipation... but perhaps thats just me... Agreed 100% I hate that little circle thing on the bottom of the TLC knife. "easy is to easy" A-1-5 The iron spades "фсеф тще мукф"

It's an accurate detail, though I admit it looks a bit strange on what really is just an oversized diving knife (that knife design was originally created for the Aquazone theme). Question! Why are some of the prototype KA-BAR's more flexible than others? I have two of the silver ones, and those can stretch a small bit, but I also have a trans-green one that would only snap, but is strong enough to do so only when pushed too far. What about the KA-BARS with the round handles? I read on Flickr that these are early overmolded handles for some prototypes, but I have one with a black round handle and a golden blade that doesnt bend, but feels like normal ABS. Is this a different kind of ABS, or is it just my imagination?

Tarren wrote:Close, but is it close enough for an I told you so? Well, I made that connection way back when a the idea of a machete was first proposed. Let's face it though, anyone with any knowledge of pop culture likely to associate a machete with everyone's favorite mental disabled, water-logged serial killer. Tarren wrote:Is this a different kind of ABS, or is it just my imagination? Trans-plastic is more brittle than regular plastic, hence its less give and greater likelihood to break if too much pressure is applied. All other KA-BAR prototypes are standard ABS I believe, including the overmolded pieces. The Bionicle-derived is really, really flexible, and if you have indeed have a KA-BAR that was produced from that material, it should be exceptionally bendable. If not, it's just regular ABS (or maybe a mix of the two). badger

A few things have been tossed around, but nothing specific as of yet. However, I can say that "bendy arms" would never happen. The minifig is the minifig, and that's all there is to it. badger

I NEED the KA-BAR! I have scout minifigs and they're armed with white lego horns. Yup, horns! Can't wait for them to come out, I wonder if they'll be 2-for-1? *crosses fingers

That would look pretty good with a WW2 or assassin guy.

Very nice, I like the way the combat knife is slightly longer than Lego's knife. The machete is very good also. Are they very pointy?
