For the LEGO® Military contest on Flickr. Vignette category. Rodger Young has nothing on this guy. In a flash of light and heat, Pvt. Johnson was flung backward... a moment later, he regained consciousness and immediately wished he hadn't. Looking down at himself, he noticed that the grenade clipped to his chest had miraculously failed to detonate... and that his legs were totally gone. He had no idea how he survived being blown in half, but the pain was unbearable. He tried to scream, but could not. He looked again, hoping he had somehow imagined it... no, his legs were still gone, his intestines still spilling out onto the asphalt. As darkness started to cloud his vision, he looked around. His squad was pinned down by the bunker... "The bunker... but.. where...?" he thought, then looked up. The blast had knocked him right under the firing slot of the New Britain controlled pillbox. Knowing he was about to die, he yanked the grenade from his chest... grasped it... pulled the pin... "Request to engage!" Takin' a walk down main street... Hooray for Joe Vig! All pics=links.

I love the sniper scope! That guy walking down the street must be oblivious to his surroundings.

That said, I'd personally support NB over CLB, since CLB are attempting to recreate the old British Empire (that the sun never sets on) and I'd rather not be taxed for tea ;) soman wrote:For the LEGO® Military contest on Flickr. did you win it? because you should. Thanks; I was hard pressed to come up with something original for a vig, but I think I succeeded. :) kaboom4 wrote:That guy walking down the street must be oblivious to his surroundings. Quite; see the link under his picture. Plus, it's a really good book. ;)

Eww. Nice! For some sick reason, this is my favorite use of snakes as minifig guts. Go figure. (The thumbnail's not working, BTW).

SV, I have an upcoming vig that I'm making. Do you mind if I use your sniper crosshair idea? I'll give you full credit, in bold letters.

That was a very detailed and sad story.
Some of you might be wondering why I have't been posting pics. The reason why is because I lost my camra, which is a big bummer.

the sniper-scope view is amazing!
