Here is a new vig that I was working on this morning, and just finished tonight. It portrays a small squad of Marine Corps infantry conducting a lighting assault on a checkpoint along the Transnistrian border. And I actually just realized that I got the flag wrong... Anyways, here it is - Overview - In preparation of a large scale ground operation, small squads of US Marines are conducting lighting raids against key checkpoints across the Transnistrian border. But for this particular squad of Marines, things aren't going as fast as planned. Marines close up - Marine Corps infantry moving fast to secure the checkpoint. USMC Checkpoint Assault - Side - Desperate - This unfortunate Russian soldier took a round in the gut and won't be around much longer....unless his comrades can save him. Holding out for Reinforcements - These desperate Russian troops are hoping that help will be coming soon, but are unaware that this is also happening in 8 other checkpoints across the Transnistrian border... Reinforcements are probably very unlikely... You can find more pictures and sizes here on my Flickr. Comments and critiques are more than welcome. Hope you liked them.

This is really cool! Good job! The mistake with the flag seems like something I would do.

Yeah the Marines are the Bley and Green, and the Russians are Tan/Brown. Thanks for the replies!

When you need a job done right, send the Marines. You could always use the Russian troops from the new Indy sets out.

Thank you for the kind words, guys! Send in the Clones wrote:When you need a job done right, send the Marines. Haha, yep, that's definitely right. Speaking of which, did you know that the US Marine Corps is the largest in the world, and is even larger than entire standing armies of some nations? Send in the Clones wrote:You could always use the Russian troops from the new Indy sets out. I could, but they look very..."cold war-ish" to me. I would prefer to use them for a band of freedom fighters or something. Although, I guess I could make some troops from the DPRK(Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea - North Korea)... The troops or the vig?

Yeah but I think the Russian soilders (the ones with green uniforms) only come in 1 or 2 sets and those are the more expensive one...
