This was an entry into the THAC (Twenty four hour animation contest) over at http;//ilovebrickfilming.com , I basically had to make a brickfilm in 24 hours, using specified mod elements, which had to be in every shot to prove it was made in the time set. I made use of one pf the brickarms weapons here.

CONTAINS MILD SEXUAL IMPLICATIONS :P

Thanks for watching :D

MOD - I had a chance to review this video, and as is doesn't feature any overt sexuality beyond some movement under some covers, I'm going to reopen the thread. I'm putting this in the context of the fact we've had videos posted that feature some fairly gory effects and haven't batted an eye.

In terms of this type of content, I'm using the "James Bond" test - if it's between the lines enough such that the young folk have to have their mind in the gutter to start with in order to get it, they're a lost cause already.

Continue discussion, but a warning to keep it mature.

At first, I thought the guy was having a bad dream...

This is very good considering it only took you 24 hours to make. Great job!

I dug around YouTube until I found this vid, and it was pretty good. What FPS did you use?

Cheers!

EDIT: By the way, I didn't really get what was going on. Could we have a brief "plot outline?"

EDIT #2:

Well said . . . that should have a place in some sort of quote book :-)

The end was funny in a somewhat morbid way, Good job.

Yeah, it is a very good video, not just as a brickfilm, but as a comedy short. I must say, though, the sex scene feels just beyond PG13 to me. It's passable when set against some of the more audacious blood and guts on the forums, but just barely.

What happened? It was funny, but I didn't really get it.

Also, what was the song at the end? The "1, 2, 3, 4 . . ." one

Good job on the very smooth stop motion, and it was hilarious as well. The only thing is the dialog is a little quiet compared to some of the sound effects but otherwise great job.

good job on the rain!

Some of you might be wondering why I have't been posting pics. The reason why is because I lost my camra, which is a big bummer.

Thank you guys, sorry I haven't been around for a while, I left because I thought this was just going to stay locked.

I use 15 FPS, there isnt actually any dialog I don't think, all that was said was "Yoink".

There isn't really much of a plot, basically shows that this guys life is always being intervened by this guy, so he gets fed up and shoots him, I wasn't really going for a serious feel :D

Thanks for watching it, and commenting.

Oh and the name of the song at the end is Reel Big Fish - Beer.

Thanks again :D
